We use it to make dressing, season vegetables, season meat dishes, etc. The only problem we have is sometimes the mix hardens in the canister. What can we do to prevent this? The top is always closed tightly.

But I experimented and added this to burgers that I put on the grill in addition to my regular seasoning and they were a hit with everyone. It really gave my burgers alot of flavor and didn't taste like a regular burger. Everyone including myself really enjoyed this and will be using this all the time for my burgers. I have also tried this on my baked pork chops and they turn out well also.

We have potatoes so often that we've had a hard time coming up with new ideas to make the new/different. One night we had a brilliant idea to add a hidden valley season to the potatoes and it just made them 100 times more appealing! Now everytime we made potatoes it doesn't "taste right" without putting in Hidden Valley seasoning.

I don't know if there's a quality control problem with the new packaging but I bought 4 boxes of 4 packets dip mix that claim to be Original but now says 'thick and creamy' recipe on the box and it is awful. It tastes like it's the Dill packets. My entire family is so disappointed. I'm just flabbergasted it's so awful. Whoever changed the recipe needs to get back to the drawing board and put the thick and creamy in its own category and return the real original!!!! Not the sour cream it's the exact same brand. The whiff from the packet alerted me prior to mixing that something was wrong.

I can whipped this up quickly and serve with pretzels and chips or veggies. and with the ease and low cost I can make 2 bowls or for that matter hollowed out breads (for eye appeal)

My family makes it into a dip, dressing, or uses it in any recipe that requires ranch. From my memory, we’ve used it on chicken, vegetables, and mashed potato cups and it turned at wonderful. I wouldn’t change this product for the world.

I'll only eat "homemade" ranch with Hidden Valley, buttermilk, and mayo at home. I also love using it for stuffed mushrooms, which is HV mix, cream cheese, bacon, and onions mixed together and put in mushroom caps. Add cheese on top and bake until cheese melts. SO good!!

Of course there is the traditional dip, but if you add some dill, it becomes some quite special. You can also add it to your Baked Chicken..just sprinkle into the flour or bread crumbs and instant flavor! I love to add this to my veggies right before I roast them in the oven!!
