[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to mix a teaspoon of HV Dip Mix with my favorite mayo when I make any version of creamy pasta salad. i add shrimp or crabmeat, tuna or pepperoni with my favorite style and shape of pasta. I mix a cup of mayo, a third cup of sour cream, and 1-2 teaspoons of the dry HV Dip Mix and it is all the seasoning that you need for a great pasta salad.

I used to buy this dressing in the packages whenever I needed to; however, since the shaker container came out I mainly buy this product and keep it in stock in my pantry so I always have ranch dressing or seasoning mix whenever I need it. I think this idea is one of the best ideas HV Ranch has come out with. It is so convenient and easy to use and so much more economical to buy this product this way. I love it!!

Seriously, if you don't have this in your kitchen you must go buy it as soon as possible! I use this in so many recipes it's on an almost constant rotation to purchase because I run out of it! Obviously if you checked the Hidden Valley Ranch website there's a ton of recipes that utilize it and I'm sure you could come up with a few of your own like I did! So yummy even good just shook on your popcorn.

I'm on a restricted sodium diet, 1300mg per day. For months I've been using your ranch mix. I just bought a new 4-pack box and to my horror it appears that the sodium content has increased by 78%!!! From 135mg per serving to 240mg! WHY? I'm so angry I could spit! Why would you do this? Either you just increased the sodium unnecessarily or I've been risking my kidneys due to inaccurate product labeling. I'd like to know which. I'd be happy to change my review if this is a mistake.

I use this to make various dressings. For things like salad dressing, I'll combine some of the mix with regular yogurt. When I have time, I'll squeeze some lemon juice on crushed garlic, then add yogurt and the ranch seasoning, and mix it well. But for a burger condiment, I mix some of the seasoning along with some pureed chipotle (with adobo - I buy the cans), and greek yogurt. Perfect and tasty and relatively guilt-free veggie burgers. Love it!

Over the years, this Ranch dip has been on the menu for just about every party. From classroom events to holidays to casual gatherings. It nestles perfectly between potato chips and baby carrots. Great in soups, too! My nieces from Canada can't be pried away from the bowl. They can't get it there! I just found out today about Ranch flavored Doritos labeled abroad as "Cool American." Fun!!

If you are true ranch person then you must move on up to the shakers. Don’t be scared or nervous...it’s easy to use and even if you shake it a little to much you will still have a fabtastic flavor and everyone will want to come to your house to eat! The more the merrier. More ranch, more friends, great get togethers. The choice is yours!
