this ranch is my only ranch my husband and i switched over to this back in 2007 i believe... after our previous ranch changed their recipe.. we found this and we were happy that we did cause i dont like any other dressing.. but i must say im so upset to find that none of my local stores carry this light ranch any more as im on my last corner of a bottle the only one i can find is the light 60 and it doesn't taste like the reg light ranch at all.. i have no back up ranch to buy cause this was the only brand i loved i just want the regular light ranch back make them both avail cause the light60 isnt for me i dont like that taste at all...

Unfortunately I have an allergic reaction to food products with Monosodium glutamate [MSG]. Someone made a pre-mixed salad and used Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing (Original). I ate some, and it was good at the time. Next day, itchy and painful hives. This is a normal reaction when I eat something with MSG, generally, I try to backtrack and analyze what I ate to determine what caused it... Items like this and Adobo, Accent, some chicken broths, and many more spices, sauces and seasoning packets contain MSG. Read the label and stay away if you have any adverse reactions to MSG. Not reccommended and buying this...ever!

If I ever buy any other brand (happens on very rare occasions when our store is out of HV brand) my husband won't eat it. Great taste, great consistency and perfect for salads and so many other meals!

Such a wonderful taste in that little bottle. My family goes through about a bottle every two weeks. We use it on fajitas, potatoes, salad, for dipping. Its a flavor that cannot be duplicated. I've looked and it's never the same. It has a very distinct creamy flavor with just the right amount of spices. It's never watery and really goes with just about everything.

Since ranch dressing came on the scene it has been my favorite dressing for salads and as a dip for raw vegetables. I ordered it online because that is so convenient for me and I use this online method of purchasing not only items such as canned or bottled drinks, but also for office misc., and other things needed for my home. Online purchasing is convenience personified. One does not have to cover a lot of territory in the store finding things, and the items come very timely. No problems here, just easy shopping. Hidden Valley's Original Ranch is so much more than just a salad dressing!! Its great with so many other things, the possibilities really are endless. It can be used as a dip with everything from veggies and chicken to even pizza. I personally love to use it with my french fries. I even use it when making marinades!!
