[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to throat restrictions and other complications from stage 4 throat cancer and treatment, I am not able to swallow anything thicker than the Original Ensure Shakes. Even blended foods are not passing my damaged epiglottis reliably. My only viable (and probably inevitable) alternative is going back to a feeding tube. I am able to hold off that day for now. I have used all the flavors, but definitely drink Coffee Latte the majority of the time.

I am 96 years old, still walk without a cane, still exercise, still confident when driving on the freeways, still read and edit for authors, and still fly around the country. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flavor can be improved with a chocolate or strawberry syurps. It is smooth so no problem with swallowing. Keep in fridge so cooled Ensure is better. I like Ensure for its energy producing quick small meals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite flavor is Strawberry although I have tried the chocolate and vanilla. I drink one a day. I am a Viet Nam vet. I have on going internal pain. Tests and even a surgery has not alleviated my pain. Most food irritates my digestive system but not ensure. I drink it for the nutritional value it provides my body as I don't eat properly other things. I appreciate the fact that such a product is available. Thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy these products for my dad and ship them to him about every 2 to 3 months. He loves the original flavor of vanilla best. I just bought the banana nut flavor and the new Max brand for him. It gives me peace of mind that it keeps him full when he doesn't have time for a meal right away. I myself like the vanilla flavor too and I like it cold.

I have severe chronic kidney disease (CKD) with many side effects. I use Ensure daily because I have difficulty eating without getting sick most of the time, and have trouble with my calcium levels which causes it's own side effects. I keep a pack of Ensure near my bed so I'm able to get one quickly if needed. Ensure has helped me countless times, and all of the flavors are fantastic, so it's a treat too!

But I tried the Ensure and I felt good without being overloaded but still have the necessary nutrients. I like the smooth texture and the great flavors. I had a bad reaction after drinking Ensure. I took one from the fridge as I was running out for a work training because I was running late. I drank it and within minutes I broke out in hives and my eyes swelled up. This is the first time this has happened and definitely scared me.
