My daughter insisted I needed protein to rebuild muscle and suggested I drink Ensure at least once/day. I did not like it cold so thought I'd heat it like hot chocolate....genius idea!!!

Now, at 70 years old, I'm quite active and totally enjoy working as a stagehand and cameraman. Ensure Milk Chocolate is the perfect refresher during the 15 minute breaks. Delicious. Healthy. I lost my taste for foods and lost over 15 pounds. Being able to drink Ensure helped me to stay healthy and eventually I regained some of the weight. In the morning I use 1/2 of a bottle on my cereal and drink the other 1/2 as a morning snack. Mid Afternoon I have another as a snack. I fully believe this is how I regained my strength and stamina after my stroke 4 years ago.

I was kind of surprised when he liked it, since he is having issues with not being able to taste anything or having a terrible taste in his mouth after eating. He told me to try one. I was pleasantly surprised that I, too, thought that the milk chocolate flavor had a very pleasant and smooth taste, with no after taste. I've now bought some of my own to supplement my own diet.

After retiring I developed throat cancer. For about four months I was using Ensure through a feeding tube. That was ten years ago.
