Batteries that came with claimed to be Duracell with a date of 2026 for exp. However every battery has leaked already. I suspect the batteries are counterfeit knockoffs and not the real deal. None of the lights work anymore due to the batteries leaking all over the terminals. Don't waste your money.

Although the lights are easy to install and look great, the battery life is horrible. We like the red and green at Christmas time so we have them on a little more but not that much more. We've had to change the batteries several times its ridiculous. So even though they were decently priced the cost of replacing the batteries far exceeds the value of the product

i saw these lights at Sam's club also and decided they were just the thing to have since they required no wiring. i discovered one light quit working not long after i put it up and just assumed someone had accidently hit it. Today i decided to check one of my lights and it did not work. i pulled out the remote and none of the lights worked. i bought 2 sets of them and all are dead. i do not recommend this product.

I bought 2 packs and absolutely loved them, until I realized how much it cost me to keep buying batteries for these lights. I only used them for 10-15 min.. 2 or 3 times a week. I had to keep changing batteries, every 2 weeks (that's A LOT of batteries). Now they stopped working completely, both packs at the same time. I changed the batteries even in the remote, but they still don't light up. The thing that bothers me the most, s that I stuck them unto furniture and now I can't even take them off, because it'll leave a mark :(

When I first got these just prior to Christmas 2016 I thought they were great and actually bought 2 more for gifts. Since then 3 of the 5 have stopped working on the "white" LED. All the other colors work fine. Battery drain is fast so we purchased rechargeable batteries and charger and have to charge them at least once a week. They get very little usage, mostly early morning when I don't want to turn on the sink overhead light.

I WILL BE TAKING DOWN AND THROWING IN THE TRASH! I purchased four of the five light packs. Seemed to be a good idea, easy to install and worked sufficiently, but for a very short period. I am fed up with never knowing if they will work or not. I have spent a small fortune on batteries as they last only a very short period. Good idea, but they are junk.

I was so happy at first when I used them the first time.However I was able to use them twice and then the battery was dead.Repacing the batteries they only lasted 2 more time and thats was it.I would never purchase these again.They work for a short time and after replacing the batteries the lights were dim.

At first I thought these were the absolute answer to much needed lighting for our metal kitchen cabinets. I replaced the permanent tape and installed them with Command strips. And then.....absolutely horrible battery life. I even went out and bought super rechargeable batteries (quite pricey) because standard batteries didn't seem to work. I rarely used the lights. It isn't like I left them on 24/7. Simply occasional use when working at the counter. Sadly, this was wasted money and I bought two packs so the other set is unopened in the package. Very disappointed. I thought Hoover put out better products than this.....probably one of my worst purchases ever.

Bought these as an under kitchen cabinet lighting option and they work well. You sometimes have to point the remote to a light far left/right that did not change color or turn on with the rest but that is a minor inconvenience. If you are looking for lighting that is not full track these are a good option.

I have a cabin up north that we use a generator for power. At night the generator is shut down. I have these lights thru out the cabin. That way when you have to get up in the night, you have enough light to find your way around. When it comes time to pack up and go home, I set the timers to go off a couple hours after we leave. I have bought a couple more to put in my deer blinds. I think they are fantastic.
