I was expecting robust strong flavor. But instead i got a soothing smooth taste. with hints of nut It's not a wake up coffee. to me it more of a lunch or end of the day coffee. I added a little sugar it helped bring out more flavor. This coffee is nice but it needs a little more body for me to enjoy straight up! but over all i give it a 7.5 out of 10

This coffee was one of my first purchases when I got my brewer. Admittedly, the title was alluring as I can remember early cold mornings at my local donut shop and drinking their hot coffee. It didn't get any better than that! This coffee does not disappoint in that same way. Great on a cold morning with your favorite donut.

I start EVERY DAY with a cup of the Original Donut Shop Extra Bold Coffee by Coffee People. I have other blends that I use for a cup later in the day to be fair and balanced, but this one is truly the best for me. Perfect blend, rich smell, wonderful taste. It makes my morning bearable as I am a bear in the morning and this coffee also helps out my family and friends by making me bearable.

I love Donut Shop coffee. It has a very nice flavor that pleases almost every palate. It is a great all around coffee, especially for entertaining guests. I always recommend it to those who aren't sure what they might like. It is my favorite k-cup. I drink it every morning.

This was included in the 12 pack sample I received w my keuirg. LOVE this flavor. Not strong not bitter just right and it adds a little sweetness. Brewed on large mug size and that was perfect with a little cream and truvia! Toolbad it's sold out!! :(

Got this coffee in the sample pack that came with the machine. Didn't really give it much thought at first, but when I ran out of my Kona blend I brewed this one morning. Good coffee to wake up to, and I could picture this as a typical "donut shop" coffee. It wasn't the greatest or best tasting, but not bad as a go-to brew to wake up to.

This is one of the first kcups I ever tried and I love it. It is my go-to simple coffee. Reminds me of Dunkin' Donuts, which is by far my favorite coffee and until they start offering k-cups this will be the coffee I drink. I enjoy it black or with sugar & creamer. If is a great coffee to add flavoring syrups to if you have them.

If this is their bold, I would HATE to try the regular. It is weak and watery and the flavor is very bland. Cheaptasting. If you want a great bold - go with Green Mountains Black Diamond Extra Bold, or even Newman's Own Extra Bold. Both are strong with great flavor.

I love, love, love this coffee! So much so, after buying a box of it, I received another 50-ct. box for Christmas from my husband. While I will admit, I tend to NOT like strong coffees, and I'm definitely not a dark roast fan, the flavor of this coffee is perfect, even though it's described as extra bold. I don't find the coffee has a bitter, almost burnt taste that I sometimes feel "bold" coffees tend to have. This one is definitely worth a try, even for those a little hesitant to go to the "bold" side.

This is my "follow up" to Dunkin' Donuts. It's got a good, strong (but not bitter) taste - perfect for that morning coffee, or when you just want a robust cup. I would take Dunkin' Donuts over this one, but if I can't make it to the store (since the nearest Dunkin' Donuts is an hour away), I'll always have this on hand.
