I find this coffee to be a nice staple for afternoon to night. The flavor is rather mild, which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Overall, with some half and half and a touch of sugar I find this to be a nice standard cup. Not too fancy, not too strong.

The aroma was strong and pleasant. Good flavor when I tasted it unaltered, even better when I kicked it up to my usual black, double-sweet. Unfortunately it has that thin mouthfeel that coats your tongue and doesn't seem to go away, which brings with it an almost burnt-bean aftertaste over time. I think if I'd been drinking this one with breakfast rather than on it's own, I might have enjoyed it a bit more, and I think it could make for a good breakfast coffee. I just prefer my coffee to be a bit more of an all-around coffee that doesn't require a palate cleanser to enjoy.

I recently got a Keurig coffee machine so I've been trying various K-cups to see what I like best. This coffee is by far my favorite. I bought a whole box of it after sampling it in my Keurig starter kit. It is perfect for a great, consistent cup of coffee each morning.

I always thought coffee was just coffee, and they were all just about the same, even with the Keurig...UNTIL I tried this k-cup...the flavor is the best I have ever tried, from any brand or any flavor. It is that good. not too strong, not too mild, PERFECTION. I usually preferred flavored kinds but this changed my preference and now this is the only one I purchase. I am addicted to this kind!!!!!!

This is definitely my favorite coffee ever. I have a cup every single morning and it is just delicious. It's smooth and not too bitter and just all-around amazing. I am definitely buying more of these. I've tried Gloria Jean and Starbucks House blend and neither of them come close to how good Donut Shop coffee tastes.

This is one of my favorite coffees. It's well balanced, not bitter or sweet. My other top pick is Timothy's Rainforest Espresso. Tully's Italian Roast and Green Mountain Sumatra are close behind. The first 2 tend to be slightly sweet, while the second 2 tend to be slightly green or bitter. but when I use French Vanilla creamer, which I usually do, they are all good. Many past reviewers equate "Extra Bold" with "Dark Roast". "Extra Bold" means that there are more coffee grounds in the K-cup to make it stronger. This is a "Medium Roast" coffee. If you prefer "Dark Roast", try the other 3 that I mentioned.

This is my favorite K Cup coffee. I didn't really drink coffee before getting this particular coffee pot, and i thought, what the heck, i'll try this coffee because it has the cute little doughnut on it, and voila, it's my favorite, & i've tried almost all of them. It has such a rich flavor, without being too strong or bitter.

I've been using Kcups for about 3 years now and this one is the one I come back to consistantly for a good tasting cup of coffee. I don't like weak coffee at all but then I don't like it so strong you can't catch the flavor. I buy mostly extra bold varieties because I use half and half in my coffee. I find so many Kcups I end up with a less than satisfying cup of coffee because of this. But this one is the gold standard for all around good tasting.

The best coffee I ever tasted before was real Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee on my honeymoon in Montego Bay, Now that coffee is expensive and hard to get. When I tried the Original Donut shop coffee I was amazed! It was as good or better than the Blue Mountain. I am so pleased that I just tried the new Cappuccino. Yum! Very smooth with just a hint of cinnamon. Can you make a non-dairy one so that my husband can have some?

The comments about this coffee having an aftertaste is very true. I bought this by mistaking thinking it was the Donut House blend and I was disappointed because it's bitter and the aftertaste stays with you. Donut House is much better, especially if you like "DD".
