This used to be my favorite but not anymore! I have been a user of this brand for several years. Even bought a new brewer when the grounds got into my coffee, thought I needed a new brewer. Almost every 3 pods used, the grounds gets into the coffee, Will be trying new varieties now!

A unique blend of extra bold and medium roast, this is just a straight up tasty coffee. This is pretty much a legendary K-cup; it created its own category which other makers have now duplicated. It succeeds at capturing exactly what it says, the American donut shop coffee flavor.

I know the Donut has high ratings, and my EX even swears by it. I just want a nice cup in the morning to ease the pain of reading the newspaper. Donut didn't do it for me. It's okay, but doesn't have the body that Caribou does. Believe me, I compared several roasts. Donut just seems a little thin for my taste, but in a pinch, I'd have it.

Purchased a case of this product for my wife to go with the 2.0 I got her for her birthday, first try at brewing one of these cups, all the dripping ceased after 1/3 of cup, sat indicating "Wait" finally timed out, open lid, and the cup had grounds coming out of the top, also had spewed all inside the brewer, bummer, cleaned the mess up, and tried again, same thing major mess!! Ran a cup or two(2) of water only, then brewed a cup of the folger brand no problem, tried another of this product, FAIL!!! I Have a case of time bomb K cups, and have read on other venues I am not the only one. Tried all the tricks, releasing pressure, poking larger hole in bottom, to no avail. Really makes a person upset, I have some unofficial K-cup product that never fails. Wont purchase again, not worth the risk.

This coffee is an All-American-Classic! It reminds me of how good coffee used to taste. My friend's mother (who was a great cook) made us coffee like this when I was a teenager, and after too many years, I haven't had any like it since! Thanks, Keurig! You really made an incredible coffee!

I love a good cup of coffee I like it strong but hate when coffee is bitter. This coffee is perfect for me and I was a Dunkin Donut coffee girl and that coffee was stronger than this one and required extra sugar and extra cream just to drink it. So I like Donut Shop coffee better'

I don't really like strong coffee that much, but I tried this in the sampler pack that came with my brewer and, dang....it's easily one of the strongest coffees I think I've ever tasted. Not quite to my palate, personally, but I can't rate it down for that. Made for a good cup with the right amount of cream/sugar. If you like strong, super-bold coffee I think you will definitely like Donut Shop.

This was the first coffee I tried on Christmas Day. I was very surprised how much I enjoyed this cup of coffee. I thought at best, this system would be a hard up cup of coffee once the regular pot was set up for morning.I was wrong. I will use the regularly.

I have tried every POD brand of regular coffee out there; i.e. Starbucks, Green Mtn, Newman's Own, Folger, Community, Gavalia, Dunkin Donuts, etc. I keep going back to Original Donut Shop K-cup. They are the BEST. I even bought the insert to use and I think Donut Shop is the best. Thanks for this great coffee. Have a great day!!!

i really like the taste of the coffee...BUT, the last box i bought, I've had to throw at least half of my brewed cups of coffee out due to grounds escaping!!! the only thing I notice is that the foil top is raised higher & is much tighter than my other brands & has no 'give'...I'm thinking that when it is punctured, too much pressure is in the k-cup, causing some grounds to escape... it's really hit or miss on whether or not you'll have a mug full of grounds! the flavor is not good enough for me to take another chance.
