We live in a TALL old house, getting a signal from the Modem to the third floor is problematic at best. Non-existant at worst. Tried Access Points, extenders, Mondo=Powerful Routers with not much success. Add in iPads, tablets, ROKU, laptops, phones and a crazy huge assortment of wireless devices, speed was an issue where we did get a good signal. So I bought the Orbi (Router and Satelite) home Starter Kit. Read the instructions (3 minutes) downloaded the app to my Galaxy phone and was up and running in less than ten minutes. Speed tests show triple previous speeds down, about the same up (we hit max the ISP allowed previously) Double the speed on the third floor (when we had little or no signal before). Regularly running two iPads, Android and iOS phones, 22 Computers, and ROKU, always a strong fast signal. and speed.

Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about maybe paid by Cisco? This thing is AMAZING!!! I have a 4,000 square foot house and get coverage in every single room. I pay for a 300 meg connection and can not attain that from every inch of the house even in the garage!

I purchased the Orbi AC2200 (Router & Satellite-RBR-40/RBS-40) hoping to replace my gateway that kept dropping the wireless signal and have better success. I have only had the Orbi for a week but have not dropped the wireless one time! I have Comcast blast and I am consistently at 250 MBs as I test the speed on the Orbi app on my phone on a regular basis just to keep track of it. No weakness in signal anywhere in the house upstairs or downstairs which was not the case with the gateway. For this system to get maximum speed and performance I would recommend a Cat7 ethernet cable but no lower then cat6. Overall I am very satisfied with this product.

We are a family of 6, 4 kids (three teens). this has met our demand for wifi. Set up was pretty quick and easy. So far we haven't been able to stress out the system with everyone streaming/demanding bandwidth. I like the option of "pausing" a devices connection to help kids have the motivation to get school work or chores done. Recommended.

We stream our TV through our provider. Our old router could handle the overall speed but if more than 2 devices were on we were stuck. This device allows us to stream over multiple devices with no questions. With 4 HD TVs streaming, 4 WiFi speakers playing, 3 cell phones and 2 laptops running we barely even noticed a speed drop. This device is ideal for those who run multiple devices at one time or need to get the full speed from their modem

This router system is amazing. Before this router, my old router left dead-spots throughout half of my apartment. The kitchen, first bedroom, and bathroom were off limits for internet browsing or phone calls. However, after getting this router dead-spots are a thing of the past. In addition, with my old router would only get a max download of 3mbps, while I was paying for 100mbps. As soon as I set the Orbi, my download shot up to 104 mbps in parts of my apartment where the internet never reached before. If you have dead-spots or slower than usual wi-fi--return the router that the cable company provided and make the investment in this system.

I have to say the simplified interface had me worried. but I like it. I had traditional routers where I had to manually set all the limits and this has made it simpler. I have a better connection with those items I was having issues with and that it is expandable is even better.

This is the best router I have ever had. Coming from the Apple AirPort Extreme and this thing blows it out of the water. I have an old house with plaster walls and I have no trouble getting a strong signal anywhere in my house or backyard. Would recommend to anyone looking for a top of the line router.

The desire to have a flawless WiFi network has always been my goal. Desiring great WiFi including a detached garage many high tech devices has been a challenge. Before I had dual band in my house but had to settle with a single channel in my garage. Now withmy ORBI I have great coverage everywhere!

We have 5 kids and multiple wireless devices. Before the Orbi everyone was complaining about how slow everything was. Now no one complains. Every square inch of our two story 4000 sf home gets the fastest WiFi possible. This has truly been life changing for our family. Best purchase ever!!!
