It has a nice iridescent shine to it. The conditioner didn't feel too heavy but I didn't feel like it improved the blonde coloring in my hair any, and I felt like it made my hair a bit oilier than I would have liked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary, for review purposes. I used this shampoo about 6 times over the last 2 weeks. It smells sooo nice, but I felt as though I needed to use more of this shampoo than I use with my regular color protecting shampoo, sometimes even going so far as to completely re-wash it a second time to ensure my hair felt completely clean. It didn't appear to protect or extend my color any longer than my regular brand, so I probably won't purchase again.

This shampoo made my hair look greasy, was very heavy in my hair. I asked 4 of my girlfriends to try it, thinking it was just me. All 4 disliked it and hated the way it made their hair feel. It took us days to get the shampoo out so that it didn't look like we hadn't washed our hair. I have very dry hair and this color assure shampoo made my hair so greasy it was nasty. You could feel the yuck in your hair, and that was after washing it with another brand of shampoo trying to get this brand out. I'm not at all saying Nexxus is bad Shampoo, I'm saying this type is NOT good. Whatever they put in it, is heavy and makes hair very greasy. Do not buy a big bottle of it like I did before you at least sample it.

It doesn't leave your hair feeling super dry, a little goes a long way and It lathers up nice! I feel like it retained m hair color too and ever since using it I'm getting more and more compliments on my hair!

I have been using Color Assure shampoo for two years and everything has been fine until my most recent purchase in which I have had a filmy almost greasy like look and feel to my hair after showering. It seems like the change in bottle color changed the product completely.

I like to switch my shampoos up every now and again, tried Nexxus Color Assure shampoo and can't stand it! My hair feels terribly greasy, thought maybe I didn't wash all the conditioner out the first time, but it feels the same every time . Definitely not for me, and disappointed I spent the $$ on this product!

I bought this product for my color treated hair because I was looking for a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. At first, I was pleased with the results as my hair seemed to be less dry and my color stayed vibrant....however, after about 2 weeks of using this product I noticed my hair felt greasy...no matter how much I dried my hair it never felt completely dry. I finally looked up reviews to see that I was not the only one who experienced the grease. Yuck!! Just awful!! I threw out both bottles and after one wash and rinse with a cheap shampoo my hair was back to normal. Completely disappointed!!
