To begin, I have received this item for testing purposes via Influenster. This Shampoo smelled great! There are some that just smell like harsh chemicals, well this was not one of those. The shampoo was lightweight didnt feel heavy and a little went a long way. What I did dislike about this product was that it didnt give me the full satisfaction of a "clean" feeling for my hair. My hair is quite thick as well as recently dyed so it was nice that it didnt strip the color in the first wash as other shampoos do. But shampoo is supposed to leave the hair clean and ready for the step 2 conditioner.

This had a good thick texture to it as well as a wonderful smell. Anything that detangles this mane of hair is good in my opinion. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little pink bottle worked wonders on my freshly dyed hair. So to begin with, I'm naturally a strawberry blonde, and I dye my hair dark brown. So you can only imagine how quickly it washes out! I got the nexus color protection shampoo and conditioner right after I dyed my hair I've had it for about two weeks and my color still looks great! Not to mention the cute color identifiers on the top of the bottles that let you know watches conditioner and which is shampoo! Plus it makes my hair smell great and leaves it silky and soft,would definitely recommend this to everyone!

I recently colored my hair a light lavender color, using a semi permanent dye. I expected it to fade out right away. So far, I have washed it 3 or 4 time using this pairing of shampoo and conditioner, and it still hasn't faded hardly at all. My color looks great. And my hair feels great too! It smells good after washing and conditioning and also feels soft and hydrated.

After shampooing you notice your hair feels like it lost it's moisture, but this puts right back in! I notice the difference right after applying. It also makes detangling so much easier! I have damaged bleached hair and i can run my hands through no problem with this. I really like this conditioner. I received this product complimentary, but all opinions are my own :)

I have coarse, curly African-American hair so I only shampoo once-a-week due to the way it strips my hair, which is great for removing product buildup but not for retaining natural oils needed for my type of hair. I used it 4 times and my color still looks good and I also love the scent.
