Radiant Color Care shampoo did the product change

Have been using this shampoo for several years - last week the same exact product is now in a pink bottle, and when I used it my hair felt dirty, like I had only washed it in conditioner. Was there a mix-up at their factory or has the formula for Color Assure Shampoo changes?

I DISLIKE THE NEW ENSURE WITH A PASSION

I so do not like the new Ensure. The old one was the only conditioner that untangled my hair and kept it healthy. I also loved the fragrance. I have a very senstive nose and can't tolerate alot of different fragrances and I absolutely love the grapefruit scent. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring the old Ensure back. I don't understand why you would discontinue it altogether when you could have given your consumers the choice of buying both. I have had to look for another conditioner to replace the old Ensure. I WILL NOT use the new Ensure or anymore of your products until you bring back the old Ensure Conditioner. I don't understand why you would mess with perfection. I'm at a lose for anymore words.

Terrible now

I have been purchasing this product for several years. Something has changed with it. It doenst get my hair clean. My hair feels awful after I get out of the shower. I am extremely disappointed. Now I will need to find a new shampoo. And I feel I have wasted my money.

Please bring back the old Ensure formula!

I've been using Assure ever since it replaced Ensure, but it's not nearly as good. Ensure was the best shampoo and conditioner I've ever used - and I've tried them all! Please bring back the old formula. I miss the beautiful hair it gave me and the grapefruit smell!

I miss the old Ensure!

I loved the old Ensure with the grapefruit scent. It was light but did the trick for fine colour treated hair of getting out the knots and making it feel silky and look shiny. The new one has a different scent, texture and results on my hair. The hair gets too much conditioning and goes flat. Not all knots and tangles are out. Nor does it feel instantly smooth as it did with the prior Ensure. I can understand companies wanting to improve products but when it's a step back it's not good. I love(d) Nexus products and always recommended them to family, friends and clients. But with some of the product changes I can no longer do that. Glad I stocked up on Therape, Humectress and Keraphix!

So sad about formula change

Please bring the former Ensure back. For fine hair there was not a better conditioner out there. I loved the old scent. I've tried the new Color Ensure and I will not use it again. There's other products about the same as this current formula out there. It's heavier, I dislike the scent and it doesn't leave my hair the same way.

old formula fabulous - new formula not so much

Bring back the old formula - I have been using the old conditioner for 15 years. It was perfect for fine hair - light grapefruit scent etc. The new formula is just like the others, too thick, too much fragrance and weighs hair down.....Bring back the old formula!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible

What in the world happened to the regular color assure. This sulfate free stuff is awful. Leaves hair feeling stiff and crunchy and completely changed m hair's texture. This is simply awful - this is a different shampoo You guys owe me 20 bucks. Nexxus lost a customer.

Greasy scalp

Greasy hair! I thought I would treat myself to an expensive shampoo and conditioner but I am so disappointed in this product.  The first time I used it it felt as though the back of my scalp was greasy.  I thought maybe I hadn't washed out all the shampoo or conditioner or maybe had used too much he'll in my hair.  Two days later when I washed it again the same thing happened.  The third time I used these products I didn't use any products after shampooing and conditioning.  Same thing.  Now I'm hoping that if I go back to my old shampoo the grease will be gone.  Very disappointing and a waste of money!

New formulation is TERRIBLE!

HATE the new formulation, please bring the old one back!! I have used the old color assure in the silver bottle forever and last time I ran out couldn't seem to find the product I was used to on the shelf. The only one left in the same packaging as usual was a 1L size (along with the noticeably new sulfate free version). I bought the 1L of the old packaging it but quickly wondered if there had been some mixup at the factory and whether I had somehow bought conditioner packaged in a shampoo bottle. The color was different, and there was no lather whatsoever. I added what little of my old bottle I had left on top, and then rinsed and rinsed and still ended up with some crusty spots on the underside of my hair where apparently I didn't get it all. Then it dawned on me that this must be the sulfate free version in the old bottle. I am not new to sulfate free shampoos and realize that they do not lather like normal shampoo, but this was so much worse than ANY sulfate-free I have used in the past. It is an adjustment to get used to not having lather, but at least the ones I have used in the past left my hair feeling somewhat clean at the same time, unlike this one. I don't know what I was thinking but I went out and bought yet another bottle of the only kind that now seemed to be on the shelves (sulfate-free) STILL thinking there may have been some mixup in the one before. To use the word "disappointment" would be a huge understatement. At first I thought maybe this one would work better, as it did seem to lather a BIT more than the conditioner masquerading as shampoo that I had bought before, but then I rinsed, and rinsed, AND RINSED trying to get it all out. I thought I'd gotten it all, but this stuff left my hair feeling (and LOOKING) so filmy and GREASY that I couldn't even leave the house without washing it again in something normal; I looked like I hadn't washed my hair in a week. I absolutely LOVED this shampoo before it was changed, it left my hair clean, silky, and moisturized without being weighed down, AND did well at the color-protection that the formula was meant for. But I won't be sticking with the new one. I get that sulfate-free is supposed to be gentler on color and help with fading, but the old one did a great job at keeping my color bright and fresh without this aspect, which I was really pleased about since I don't care for sulfate-free shampoos in the first place. Why try to fix something that isn't broken? I have left very few product reviews in my life, but have written a book here. That is how disappointed I was in trying the new color assure and how much I wish you would bring the old one back. It was my absolute favorite shampoo, but if the new formulation is going to be my only choice in a color-care Nexxus product moving forward, then sadly I will no longer be a Nexxus customer and will have to search elsewhere for a new favorite. Judging from the tons of other recent reviews saying the same thing, it seems I am not the only one.
