I have been using Nexxus products for many, many years but switched to a Sulfate-free shampoo a few years ago due to the frequency of coloring my hair. I decided it's time to change shampoo/conditioner again and purchased Color Assure shampoo and conditioner. It's the worse product I have ever put in my hair!!! I could tell it was different just by washing it but when I was using the blow drier on, it felt greasy and heavy. The 2nd use I made sure I rinsed extra good thinking it was me...still felt horrible while I was shampooing and still greasy, heavy and dull. It literally makes my hair feel like I haven't washed it in 2 weeks...no exaggeration. Sorry, I can't recommend even using this product on my dog...it's that bad. A waste of money and that's too bad because Nexxus is a great product.

My hair is damaged and I am picky about conditioners that can tame my frizz.

I don't have color treated hair, but I thought this would help with my frizzy hair. This did a great job! I really like it. I like the consistency of the shampoo, I like how it lathers, I love the bottle that it comes in and how I can easily figure out which is the shampoo vs. the conditioner because of the little colored seal below the cap, and the smell is divine! I have long thick oily hair, so I've tried manu different shampoos; this one probably one of the worst. It really dried my hair up, frizzed it and made my dandruff worst. Only pro is that it smelled good. Used it twice and gave it away

It had just a subtle smell so nothing overbearing which I love. I've been using it a couple weeks now and my hair is so soft and the color is holding up well.
