I've used Nexxus previously to trying Color Assure and loved those. I recently started coloring my hair and thought I'd give it a try. I'm extremely disappointed with this product. The color in my hair didn't last any longer than when using a different shampoo and conditioner. It also leaves my hair dirty and greasy looking. So bad so that it looks like I haven't washed my hair in weeks.

I have been using Nexxus products since they first came on the market. I too was disappointed when the original Ensure was no longer available. I continued to try your products and was satisfied with the Color Assure Radiant Color Care. Now that is not available. I've tried the new Color Assure and it leaves my hair flat and oily feeling. Unless you return to at least one of the previous formulations, you have lost me as a customer. Also, how do I return this new Color Assure?

I have blonde chemical treated hair that it constantly dry and brittle. This shampoo not only removes any build up from my scalp, it also gives me moisture and keeps my blond from pulling red and brassy.

I have used other Nexxus shampoo before and I have had no issues. When I saw that my mom bought this particular formula I gave it a try, thinking that this would be a good product since my hair is colour treated. My first time using it in conjunction with the conditioner, I thought that I had not washed out all of the shampoo/conditioner thoroughly. My hair was very oily and stringy. I tried it again, thinking that the problem was my user error. It turns out that it wasn't my bad, and the second time I used it I had the same results. It leaves a residue in your hair and makes it look very greasy and disgusting, as though you haven't washed your hair in weeks. I am not the only one who has experienced this issue, as I have read reviews similar to mine. I will not use this product anymore, nor do I recommend buying it.

I got the small-ish bottles for free to tenure honestly, but I want to get the bigger bottles. I have think hair I'll need now for sure! My hair is colored and it didn't lose any shine or vibrancy.

I have been coloring my long hair dark brown for years and always relied on Nexxus Color Assure. Not anymore! This new sulfate-free formula is horrible. I cannot believe a product this bad even made it to the shelf. I've never used a worse product, and I have tried many. I loved the old formula so much! This shampoo left my hair feeling nasty - almost sticky. It did not clean my hair well at all. This should be removed from your product line completely. I was a dedicated Nexxus user but Matrix is getting my business for now.

I received this conditioner along with the matching shampoo free for review through Influenster. After using both products for a week, I decided that they just were not for me. The conditioner was too heavy for my fine hair and left it weighed down and greasy immediately after washing it. I checked the ingredients are I saw that the conditioner has Mineral Oil in the middle of its list. Studies have shown that there's no real major benefits to using mineral oil on the skin or hair, and some studies have shown that the oil can clog pores. This concerns me if you already have naturally thin hair, or have noticed your hair is thinning, as mineral oil does have the potential to clog the hair follicles and potentially cause increased hair fall. But essentially it boils down to personal preference. I personally do not like how mineral oil and other heavier oils leave my hair feeling (castor oil, for example). I feel that if you have thicker hair, or extremely dry hair, you would really like this conditioner. It does have a pleasant orchid scent just like the matching shampoo.

After about 2 days of use, my scalp began to itch slightly. After about 5 to 7 days, my scalp, neck and face near hairline itched so severely that I thought I would go crazy. The only change had been that I started using this conditioner. So I stopped, and immediately felt better. It has been 3 days and I still have slight itching, but nothing like I was experiencing while using this product. I have been told that it could take 2 to 3 weeks for my scalp to recover completely from the allergic dermatitis this product caused. I have never had a reaction like this before from any other hair product. I have read online that several others have experienced similar reactions.

This new color care shampoo and conditioner is awful. Made my hair extremely hair and I only wash my hair every 3 days. Please bring the other color care shampoo and conditioner back!! When I was using that stuff my hair was like silk. My hairdresser thought I was getting my hair done somewhere else in between the times I was seeing her. It made the color last so long in my hair. I'm still searching for a new product that did to my hair what your old color care product line did for my hair! I've tried all of your other lines they don't do a thing for my hair either! I'm done with Nexxus until you bring the other stuff back! Why did you stop making it anyway!!
