Most shampoos leave my hair dry after rinsing it off, but not this one. Not only did it help retain my haircolor, but it also kept it soft. I would definitely recommend this for someone who's looking for a new shampoo to have extra color added to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I, too, don't know why this had so many bad reviews. I have a balayage with deep red and plum tones and it is hard to maintain this color. As recommended by my stylist, I have been using dry shampoo to help extend the life of my color but i hate how cakey my hair feels after a few days. I've tried a lot of shampoos and was happy to find that this shampoo helped to get rid of oiliness and the heavy feeling left from dry shampoos. The shampoo itself was thick and produced a good lather. I leave the shampoo in my hair for a few minutes to help get rid of buildup and noticed that it does not strip my color at all. I'd definitely recommend this.

I have thick, curly hair and this shampoo/conditioner combo is not for my hair type. After using the products my hair felt extremely dry. However, when I used the shampoo and conditioner in my friend's hair (loose wavy hair type) it left her hair feeling amazing. If you have thick hair or hair that needs to retain moisture this might not be for you, but for those of you who don't have that hair type I think you'll be very pleased with your results after using the shampoo & conditioner.

I've been using the product for about a week and a half now and haven't noticed any great changes to my hair. While I think it smells great and I love that it's a clear shampoo, I've noticed my hair has been a lot more greesier than it ever is. I also noticed that the company tests on animals which I'm not a fan of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I would like to state that I don't have colored treated hair, which is the main focal point for this product, so I can't say wether this works or not. With that in mind I still used this because it's a shampoo. And it's actually the first sulfate free/silicone free shampoo that I use. So I did some research and saw whose hair benefits more to use this kind of product and whose doesn't. Mine doesn't benefit that much. Whenever I use this shampoo I see that it doesn't help with making my scalp look less greasy. It helps with frizz but my scalp looks somewhat greasy and adds no shape to that area. The one thing I do like about this shampoo is the scent. It smells so good! The reason I'm still rating this high is because I feel like this product doesn't mesh well with my hair because it wasn't meant for it (thick with a greasy scalp).

I absolutely love this new formula! I have used many different Nexxus shampoos and I find this one to be superior. I have color treated hair and it makes it so soft and manageable without weighing down my fine hair. I use it with Humectress conditioner for great results! For a sulfate free formula is lathers great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although my hair is not colored, I tried out this shampoo and it instantly made me feel like I was at some fancy hair salon getting my hair shampooed. First of all, it smells amazing! I'm not much into floral scents but this shampoo smelled great and not too overpowering. I tried it without using the conditioner and I liked it. I have very long, thick hair that gets frizzy in the Florida humidity and this shampoo took away a considerable amount of the frizz. Oh and I also LOVE that it's silicone and sulfate free! I enjoy using this shampoo, as it doesn't strip my hair of all its health oils. It leaves my hair looking shiny and feeling soft, and the scent is wonderful. I do not have color treated hair, but I have no doubt that it is gentle enough to prevent fading of color!
