I love the smell and my hair has been looking vibrant. I do wish it was better at lathering, but that's the trade off for paraben and sulfate free. it keeps my hair clean for a decent amount of time and I have been enjoying it.

I have been struggling to find one that really cleans my hair while keeping it soft and this one does just that! Does not strip my hair of any natural oils! The color is so shiny and vibrant and smell is amazing!

Combined with the shampoo this conditioner has made my hair the softest it's ever been! I cannot get enough of the smell and can't stop feeling how soft my hair is (which is rare when I try other color treated shampoos and conditioners because my hair is always left feeling coarse and brittle). I have purple hair and I've been using a different shampoo in the past. Getting a good lather with a sulfate free shampoo is difficult. I find if I really scrub, my hair feels clean. I tried this in 2 conditions to compare. Shower at night vs. shower in morning. My hair looked terrible after sleeping on it. It felt dirty by noon. Showering in the morning? Perfect. My hair was bouncy and light. I can see common complaints, and I think it depends on your hair and scalp type.

It doesn't habe a ton of lather, but you can still feel like it is working. My hair feels super clean, but I can see any of my hair color in the bubbles as I rise. So impressed and it is definitely worth the money to keep my hair looking this nice. It works best with the conditioner in my honest opinion.

And I am so glad I was given the chance! I LOVE this product! I wash my hair daily. This product gives my hair the clean and the boost it needs while keeping my color looking fresh. I was using more expensive shampoo but I'll be using Nexxus from now on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this product and loved the smell and the way it felt during use and after. I could tell that it conditions well. However, I quickly realized that this system was not suitable for demi- or semi-permanent colors. I dye my hair blue, and generally only wash every few days to minimize color loss. However, the other products (pre-wash primer and shampoo) took out more color in one use than I typically lose in a week. I didn't notice any color runoff after using the conditioner, however, and will continue to use this.

I have fine, thin color treated hair. This shampoo doesn't weigh my hair down but still leaves it soft and very manageable. I did notice my hair had a better shine as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dye my hair a lot and everyone kept telling me use a sulfate free shampoo or color specific one, so i was super excited to be getting my free sample of Nexxus from Influenster. Until I used it...this shampoo left my hair dry and breaking! Not to mention started stripping out my color! And it says it retains color. I used it for 2 weeks, about 5x, because i thought surely I'm imagining that it is taking out my color, but no, mh hair is no longer jet black but an almost light brown, not even dark. Very disappointed, especially since that was this shampoo's purpose and because it's expensive and doesn't work. I'm just glad i didn't fall for buying it but got a free sample instead.
