This product is sulfate free, which many people like. However because of that, it didnt suds up like a traditional shampoo and I fouund myself having to use tons of the product and extra water and scrub a ton to get my hair feeling clean. It worked fine but took too much work to get the same result. The smell was nice but not lasting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nexxus Color Assure Shampoo has an amazing scent. It smells like white orchids. Its so nice. I could smell it all day. The shampoo looks like a clear gel. For it being a sulphate free it lathers quite nice. I have long, thick, coarse, dull hair. I wash my hair 2x to make sure its fully clean. Then I wont wash my hair for another 3 days unless the shampoo makes my hair greasy. This didnt make my hair oily at all. It even feels great on the 3rd day. This shampoo does not dry your hair out. It acutally adds moisture to it. I love that this doesnt add volume or thickness to my hair. I like this alot & I highly recommend but dont forget to snag the conditioner. It pairs great with this shampoo and its amazing. I recieved this shampoo and conditioner in a vox box from Influenster.

I'm not sure why I received products for colored hair, as my hair is not colored, but I liked the shampoo overall. It didn't live up to my standards though, as I have very dry, tangled hair, and need very softening & conditioning shampoo. I thought the smell was nice, and left my hair smelling fresh until my next shampoo. I think it would work much better for someone with colored hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very skeptical to try out this product, but I received it complimentary of Influenster! I was worried that my pink, color treated hair would instantly fade out, as it usually does with other shampoos that claim to be safe for color treated hair. It actually didn't make my hair fade at all! My hair looked nice and shiny, but for cons, I will say that my hair felt a little stripped and straw like afterwards, and my hair looked greasy in just two days. I can typically go about four days without my hair looking greasy. So it's good, but not amazing!

In anticipation of this box arriving, I colored my hair to get a full view of what this product could offer. The shampoo has a great but not overpowering fragrance. The shampoo itself got my hair clean and was light weight but it didn't leave my hair feeling refreshed. I feel it may work better for people who have shorter or finer hair than myself and would probably recommend it to a friend who has such hair. I also didn't feel that it had the moisture lock in that other products I have used to extend color life have. Again, that could be due to my hair texture and length.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so I have now been trying this shampoo for 3 weeks and washed my hair 3-4 times a week, you don't need a lot of shampoo! it lathers up very well and you feel ir actually getting to every inch of you hair! its a little thicker/heavier consistancy. It did leave my hair very clean and it didnt strip my color! I would recommend the shampoo.
