It's thick in consistency and coats hair evenly, but it's not great for detangling. If you want to ensure lasting color between salon visits, here ya go.

I also felt it really tamed my frizz and made my hair soft. My only complaint would be I felt it took a bit to rinse it all out. Not a big deal but something to note. I also couldn't tell color wise how well it worked although I did use it for two weeks.

It smells delicious, and the shampoo is more jelly and viscous than others I've tried (so you lose less of it by it slipping through your fingers). My hair looks great, as great as it does when I use my much more expensive shampoo. I received this shampoo as a part of an Influenster box, but the opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this product because I love the Pre-Primer and Conditioner in the same line...plus it smells great and is sulfur free (which is really important to me because products with sulfur make my scalp itchy). Unfortunately I think the Color Assure Shampoo is just ok. It's definitely a gentle formula and doesn't have a ton of lather. I've used other shampoos that don't lather much so that didn't necessarily bother me. However, my hair only felt kind of clean. I've tried using more shampoo. Or washing twice. But still...my hair doesn't feel as clean as usual. So I'll continue to use the rest of the line but with a different shampoo.

I kno this shampoo & conditioner is not so affordable. But compared to some others it is and it does a great job of maintaining your color. I love the smell and the fact that it lathers into your hair so good. I leave it in my hair for at least 3 minutes. My hair comes out smooth and soft and shiny while my color is as good as day 1. Like I said it's in my top 5. I also love Redken Color Extend Magnetics or the Matrix Biolage Color Last lines. They are all around the same price as Nexxus. If you really want a great shampoo & conditioner duo for colored hair, go for the Pureology Hydrate line!

It's a great product and I suggest everyone use it, and you all will love it as much as I have! The scent it has will have you and your man smelling your hair all day long. And the feeling of your hair after you use this product will keep you running your fingers through your hair. You won't be able to keep your hands off!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this conditioner in conjunction with the Shampoo, and I think they make a great pair. I really enjoy the consistency of this conditioner. It's not too thick and it's not too thin, I feel like it saturates into my hair and does its job. I don't have color treated hair, so I can't speak for that, but my hair is frizzy and I think this conditioner helps with that. I love the bottle/packaging of this conditioner. It's a very pretty bottle with its pearl like sheen, and I also really love that it's quick to differentiate between the Shampoo and Conditioner because of the different colored seal below the cap. I feel luxurious using it. My absolute favorite thing about this conditioner is the smell! I love it! I buy many shampoos and conditioners based just on the smell alone. This smells so fresh and good, and that smell does stay in my hair for awhile. This stuff is great! I would repurchase. I received a bottle for free to review through Influenster, but I would have loved it even if I didn't get to sample it.

It smells great and leaves my hair clean and bright. It's great for an affordable price. I did receive this product for free for review, but I will purchase it myself.
