I have very frizzy and unruly hair that is hard to get smooth and straight and this shampoo and conditioner worked great for me and didn’t leave my hair greasy as sometimes smoothing products do. It also has a pleasant scent.

Before I got sleek n shine my hair had normal shine and was frizzy. All the girls at my school had shiny straight beautiful hair. I wanted beautiful shiny hair too. I went to Walmart looking for a shine shampoo. I saw sleek n shine and grabbed it as soon as I saw it! I took a shower that night and my hair was GORGEOUS in the morning! I've been using it ever since!

However, it produces a very light lather and it doesn't seem to clean my hair effectively. It also seems rather drying on my hair. My hair does seem to end up a little smoother after using this hair system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo does work well for controlling frizz. It doesn't take away my frizz completely, but does help significantly. It smells great, too and the fragrance lasts a long time. It is easy to wash out and doesn't lather excessively, as well.

It also lathers up nicely. I believe the Argan oil really makes the difference. Its helps with frizzy hair and makes my hair feel healthy. I may have found a new favorite.

I'm usually sensitive to smell but this shampoo is perfect for me. I have noticed less frizzy-ness while using this product, which is super awesome. Definitely purchasing when I run out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never been to keen on garnier products but this combo was very well together.. my favorite part was the serum for after the shampoo and conditioner! Helped with my frizziness when I crimp my hair.

I loved the way this shampoo smelled. It gently cleaned my hair, without making it feel dry. I would have given it five stars, but the way it lathered up was weak. I have extremely thick, curly hair. A thick lather is a must. I had to use a TON of my sample to get enough lather.Other than that, I am now a fan of this shampoo!

Scent wise, it smelled very sweet and fruity! The intensity though is quite strong, so for people who are sensitive to scents or pregnant, this may be a turn off or too much to handle. It is gel formula.. The shampoo itself doesn't feel as drying as other products which may help with adding shine.

I loved how this cleaned my hair and how it left my hair to be styled. My new styles were so much easier to manage and easier to control the fly-aways and frizz when I used all three steps of this SLEEK AND SHINE process but I did not use this shampoo on its own so I cannot testify to how it works without the conditioner and sheer set spray as well. Great scent and easily rinsed out.
