I decided to try it without using a straightener and only a slight blow dry. I used it with their conditioner and serum. Normally my hair would be incredibly frizzy if desperate this, but I was surprised that it wasn't. It left my hair shot and manageble. I washed my hair and went to the salon with wet hair for a cut. The stylist was raving about the pretty scent.

Smells divine, the packaging was sleek, and it left my scalp feeling clean but not overly stripped. I have oily, fine hair and I got one to two days longer than I normally would before needing dry shampoo. Would definitely recommend!

I am a light-skinned black female and I have long, thick, dry, and frizzy hair. With the sleek and shine line all I have to use is the shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, and flat iron my hair (nothing else is needed for added moisture or shine!!!!!!!!). Yes I said nothing, which I have never been able to do all my life. Most days though I just wash my hair and throw it in a ponytail, it makes my natural curl more defined and shiny also. Love it!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always looking for frizz control hair products. I decided to try this paraben free vegan formula Garnier Fructise shampoo to help with frizz. While trying this product, I had to use two times as much shampoo as usual to even feel like I had some in my hair. After rinsing the shampoo out, my hair felt so dry that I couldn’t even run my fingers through it. I would not suggest this shampoo to anyone.

I have terribly frizzy hair, and after using this and letting my hair dry naturally, it was much less frizzy! The shampoo smells wonderful, and it lathers nicely. My hair is a few inches past my shoulders, but I only need to use about a quarter-sized dollop for all of my hair! The combination of the shampoo and conditioner led to my hair feeling great, and looking much better too!

The sulfates and silicones are the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. Although temporary, this product line does improve frizz and moisture.

I definitely feel like this helped with frizz control- my hair is wavy, and the waves looked much more polished after using this shampoo. I like that they included sustainably sourced argan oil and Kera-System smoothing and shining agents for hair health and overall look and feel. My scalp initially felt clean after using this shampoo, but I did find my hair to become oily more quickly. It may be best to alternate with another shampoo for this reason. There is a slight scent, but I did not find it overwhelming. It’s a great budget option if you’re looking for frizz control and shininess!

Garnier Sleek and Shine shampoo is different than most shampoos I have used. It tames frizz and adds this beautiful sheen after just one use. Shampoos that tame frizz and make hair sleek usually have oils in them and weigh hair down. Garnier doesn't do that. It lathers up nicely and rinses clean to reveal a beautiful head of hair.
