I bought Garnier Sleek & Shine for my dry, unmanageable hair, and thought it would make my hair soft and smooth. When I first used the product, it didn't lather well at all. I felt as though I had soap built up on my hands and hair. I thought maybe it was the product just leaving a soft, silky feeling after I rinsed my hair out. The next time I washed my hair, I felt that same oily feeling. It didn't get soapy at all. It felt like I had literally just put baby oil in my hair. After rinsing 3-4 times I got out of the shower and combed through my hair and soap was coming out on the comb and felt glued to my hair. It did make my hair soft and smooth, I can say that much. But as for feeling clean, not at all.

I have thick kinky, coily hair and the shampoo dried it out. I had to rewash with a different product to fix it. With that being said, it's a good product, just not for my hair type. I would probably recommend this to my friends with straight, thin hair.

It shines and helps my wavy hair look sleeker, especially in the summer when the humidity is high. I use Garnier every day and it is great. It isn't the cheapest product but it certainly isn't the most expensive. I highly recommend all of Granier's products to everyone (even total strangers in the store that are looking for a specific product). Garnier has the perfect product for everyone.

This is a simple smoothing shampoo, not as highly straightening as some more expensive salon brands, but decent enough, especially if you have already wavy or straight hair. I have curly hair so this doesn't do much for me, but I do use it when I know I'm going to be flat ironing my hair. It gives it some extra silicone fortification and the end result is much more sleek and smooth than if I went in with a moisturizing or protein shampoo. And for the price, it can't be beat!

It tried this and omg. The scent is not bad it’s barely noticeable but on the first wash it did a good job at removing buildup without scrapping all the oils. So I’m very happy and it’s not too costly.
