[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo smelt amazing, but it was not kind to my hair. My hair is wavey-curly and fine. It is generally frizzy and dry so I was really excited to breathe some life into it. However, this was really disappointing. My hair was instantly greasy in the roots, and my curls were weighed down. I thought maybe my scalp needed time to adjust, but it got worse over time. Now my hair is coated in a thick, unnatural, build up. I can see how this might work well for others with thick, striaght, brittle hair, but I would not recommend this to anyone else.

I was worried it would leave me looking greasy because I have long, fine hair, but it really did a great job! Just a note - the cap is a little difficult to open sometimes!

This shampoo has a nice fruity smell, and the top is easy to open. Usually my hair feels stripped down after shampooing, but with this it felt clean without being completely void of any nutrients. I can't say that I noticed much of the "shine" from this product, I did notice that my hair was smoother, and though it did get frizzy in the rain, it was still in better condition than it is without using this shampoo. Overall, I thing I would add this shampoo into my regular routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Garnier Fructis sleek and shine shampoo, conditioner, and serum all together and it worked so good I made my Husband use it also. He has long hair and usually uses a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner but his hair still looks dry . This combo of garnier frizz free products has added so much shine to his hair. It leaves it absolutely frizz free and is so soft. He doesn't even put any gel or other products afterwards. The smell is also pleasant and not too strong. I definitely recommend you give this a try.

It suds up great and you get a lot of clean for a small amount of product which is always a plus when you live on a budget. It leaves my hair feeling pretty clean. As far as making it sleek, I don't know. I have thin wavy hair and it kinda leaves it limp looking. I don't think it is the product itself but I think my hair is just a pain. It doesn't dry out my scalp or leave me with dandruff like some other shampoos so it is definitely gentle.My hair smells great for 24 hours after using the product. So thats a major plus.

I reeeeally wanted to like this. I’ve been happy with the Garnier brand for years. Unfortunately, it leaves a tacky, waxy texture, which I could feel as I was applying the shampoo. I can usually get away with washing my hair twice a week (I am 52, White, normal-fine wavy hair with some gray), but my hair felt dirty the next day. I cannot understand how this is marketed as “sleek and shine”. This product might work well for super dry, coarse hair that needs some control, but other than that, this product was a big no. I really disliked this, and threw a big bottle of it in the trash.

The only negative thing about it is the lather is a bit thin, so I have to use a lot to wash my long hair. I love all the nourishing ingredients in this shampoo, like the argan oil and vitamins, as well as the active fruit protein! My hair is so soft and easy to style after using this hair care line.
