I have very thick and wavy layered hair that tends to get very frizzy and "poofy" after washing. I've tried many smoothing shampoos and conditioners, including salon formulas, and this is the only one I've found that really does smooth down and tame the frizz. To be honest I haven't really noticed much extra shine, but the "sleek" lasts until my next shampoo. Both the shampoo and conditioner get Thumbs Up from me!

I normally use a super expensive shampoo that helps with the volume of my hair since it is so thin so I was not expecting this product to perform the way it did, especially because it is not advertised as a volumizing shampoo. After using it for a couple of days, I could hardly tell a difference between my super expensive shampoo and the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine shampoo. It even gave my hair a little more of a "shine" as the name of the product suggests. I thought the packaging the was simple and to the point which is a positive in my eyes. I also really enjoyed not having a fountain of product pouring out as soon as it is opened like I have experienced in the past. When opened, the product can easily be dispensed for the right amount necessary for my hair and I haven't had any issues with any excess product being wasted. I really do not have anything bad to say about this shampoo. Overall, this product left my hair smelling great and very shiny.

I am more accustomed to using the 2-in-1 solutions. I have been using this for about two weeks now, and there are a few things to note. The smell is not specifically listed on the bottle, but it's a nice sent that doesn't overpower the senses. I have little inconsistency in the way my hair feels and dries, even though I could be using different amounts of shampoo and conditioner each day. Overall the formula is nourishing for my hair and scalp. I suffer from dandruff, but have had no problems with flaking or itching.

I don’t necessarily have a preference, but some of the competing shampoos and conditioners on the market are too strongly scented for me. So I like Garnier Fructis products in general since they’re always available at the store near me and decently priced, so I was very excited to try the Sleek & Shine shampoo. I’m happy to say it works well for me and I think it smells good, kinda fresh without being too feminine or overpowering. 5 stars from me!

I am 46 years old, so when I was in Middle School and High School, there were no flat irons or anti frizz serums. I was made fun of so much because of my frizzy, out of control hair. I have been able to control it somewhat with all the products that have come out throughout the years. I finally resorted to thermal reconditioning which is amazing!!!! but also very expensive. Before my next treatment, I decided to give the SLEEK AND SHINE line a try. no more expensive treatments for me!!! This product is amazing. My hair is soft and smooth and easy to straighten. I love it!!!!

For the last few days I have used this shampoo and it's fantastic! Kept my hair shiny and beautiful, and I love the smell! I do wish there were more suds though, I love suds! The style is also great, clear plastic so you know how much you have left in the bottle.

Because it works graet on my hair and helps the dry damage. It lathers very well and it is very nice when I apply it to the hair, it is easy to work through the hair when I use it. I really enjoy it and a little bit gors a very long way when It comes to this shampoo, I would recmmend getting the condinaner aswell because they go really well together when used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample in the mail of Sleek and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner a couple months ago,but always thought that with my waist-lenghth hair,it would not be enough to get my hair clean. Today I was about to wash my hair and thought I would go ahead and use it to at least give it the benefit of the doubt. Boy was I surprised! That hand full of shampoo more than gave me the lather I needed to wash all of my hair! And the scent was so refreshing...I thought of a Spring garden. The conditioner wasn't quite enough, so I used it on the roots and top of my head, let it sit for a couple minutes and rinsed it out. While rinsing it, I could already feel the clean, sleekness in my hair. I have color treated hair, but it is due for a recoloring. This combination feels like it cleaned out all that residue build-up and left my hair and skalp refreshed. I love the feeling and will be trying the shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair next. This one will be in my regimen for the occasional Sleek and Shine I discovered today!
