It has always seemed a little sad to me because it is single ply and it just doesn't seem like a comfortable experience. But this type of Scott seems quite a bit different. It lives up to its "comfort plus" name, it is still single ply but there are texture and ridges in each sheet which make it more comfortable. The label also advertises that it dissolves 10 times faster and is clog free, which is the benefit my husband was looking for so he can be happy with it as well. Recommended.

It is priced well in comparison to its competitors and is something I would consider replacing my normal brand with. The only negative to this toilet paper is that it is not as soft as my usual brand. The girls in my home do not prefer this for that reason, but my boys like it better. Overall, I would recommend it as long as you do not have an issue with the softness level.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a loyal Scott Toilet Paper consumer, I was very happy to receive the Scott ComfortPlus One-Ply Toilet Paper in exchange for my honest review. As homeowners with a septic system, using one-ply tissue is an absolute must. We’ve always been happy with the regular one ply tissue, but after using the ComfortPlus for over a week, we’re all generally in agreement that we prefer it over the regular one-ply. It feels more substantial, which may be due to the “ribbed” surface, so I find myself using less. In fact I was surprised at how thick it actually does feel for a one-ply. I usually end up using more of the regular than I really care to, so the ComfortPlus is a welcome change! I did notice that the roll of ComfortPlus is slightly narrower. I don’t know how much of a difference that makes in terms of how much you’re actually getting, but I did notice it right away. Otherwise, it looks like you’re getting the same amount on the roll as with the regular (which doesn’t show in my photos as I didn’t have a new roll in the house). As to comfort and effectiveness, I believe the ComfortPlus is also the winner and the ribbed surface is probably responsible for that as well. Therefore, I highly recommend Scott ComfortPlus Toilet Paper as very suitable one-ply alternative.
