The inner packaging that the tabs are in is this clear little plastic things that I have to open with scissors instead of the silver wrappers that are easy to open. This is my first time buying them and they are on one of the instant savings promos making them an amazing value for the normal price though I'd get them at a different store and use coupons just to get them in the silver wrappers instead because the little clear plastic things are extremely difficult to open

I really wanted the Finish tabs to work well because I like to support products which compete with the big names and also Finish is a better value than Cascade but unfortunately it just didn't work well. It seemed like every wash there was something that didn't come clean. Sometimes it was a haze on the silverware. Other times dishes just didn't come clean. For example see the attached photo. I had grilled some burgers and stacked them on that plate to serve. It went into the dishwasher with dried grease from the burgers. I ran this dish through TWO full washing cycles and it never came clean. I had to wash it by hand. Nothing like this ever happens with Cascade. It costs a bit more but I never have to think about whether or not my dishes will come clean. They just do.

I didn't think it had the plastic. I don't want that in our septic system.
