The quality of this product seemed not as good as it in five years ago. Right now the surface of the heavy duty scrub sponges are very easy to become cotton-like surface. It usually took less than one week, the surface is worn away. Not sure you are design it on purposes to avoid the sponges scratching certain types of surfaces? Hope you can make the quality of this sponges to be used a little longer.

this product is great for soo many uses.I can use these in the kitchen, bathroom, garage, and outdoor uses. I recommend this product to everyone I know or come across looking for something great to use for all types of needs. Definately don't have to let holiday dishes set in the sink soaking while you wait for the burnt food to soften so you can scrub. Scotch Brite takes care of it all.

I use scotch-brite heavy duty sponges in the kitchen. I have tried off brand imitators and where as they may cost less they do not last as long (shedding green flakes and fibers) and do not do as good of a job making me work harder! When I use 3M scrubbies they do a fabulous job and last and last. After they are retired from the kitchen they normally go to other uses thru out the house because they are too good to throw out but not good enough for the kitchen. I also use scrubies as filters for my potted plants so the dirt does not wash out of the bottom of the plant when watering.

AS I get on in years,(74) I tend to forget that I have something cooking and get wrapped up with something else. More than once I have char-broiled a pot and have had the heavy duty Scotch-brite scrubber save the day---and the pot!!! thank you Scotch-brite!

I use either purchase this brand or another well known. Purchased the blue 6 pack recently. The top "scratch resistant blue scrub layer" started peeling off after scrubbing one fork. By the time I was done with a small dish load, the whole layer was completely off with exposed glue. Same thing happened to the second sponge in the same pack. Very disappointing. I already emailed the company. That shouldn't happen.

I like using the heavy duty scrub sponge because I found that I can eliminate some of the harsher chemical cleaning products and just use good old fashioned elbow grease, water, and sometimes baking soda. It is a good little workout for the upper arms, saves money, and I don't like using so many chemicals!

I love this scrub sponge!! It's great with cleaning up my stove and oven after my teenage twin girls have been cooking in the kitchen. It also helps with my stainless steel pots. I was able to get baked on cheese and tomato sauce cleaned up from my stove, oven, and baking pan with hardly any effort at all. I even have one I use in the bathroom to clear up soap scum in a snap when I clean my tub/shower. This isn't just for kitchens.

I recently ran out of Scotch Brite sponges and found a firm sponge that I thought would work just as well . Boy was I surprised ! Not only did it not do the job, it became stinky very quickly and didn't have the strength to get the stuck on messes off. So as I usually do, I bought the multi-pack Scotch Brite on my next trip to the store . From now on I want only the toughest, gentle sponges for my best pots,pans and dishes . Heavy Duty is the best for clean our messy Italian dishes! My husband thought his "storebrand" knock off sponge was just as good, he was wrong, compared to my Scotch Brite, it bit the dust while cleaning - I can clean anything with this sponge! It works on every type of pot or pan, dish or glass we have in our house! I would NEVER go to another brand! Scotch Brite continually proves on a daily basis WHY it sits on our sink, in our bathrooms and we always have two back ups - we actually buy in bulk because I love them so much!!!

They simply just work the best in removing left over food stuck to the bottom of fry pans. The sponges last a long time and do not fall apart easily. We like the idea that one side of the sponge gets rid of the stubborn stuck food and the other side wipes it clean. Thanks 3M for making meal clean up an easier chore in the kitchen.
