I have been using the Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge for years and absolutely love it. Gets off the food without scratching my cookware, gets dried food off my counter tops and after I'm done with them, they head out to the garage for a new life cleaning tires & tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I keep on coming back to this product over and over and over again. There is absolutely nothing on the market that comes close to removing scratches from countertops to cleaning stove top ranges to cleaning sticky frying pans.

The heavy duty scrub sponge by Scotch Brite is an excellent choice for dried stuckon foods. It is gentle to the hands yet cleans well from pans, skillets and that ugly spill in the bottom of the oven. A fruit pie bubbled over and the sticky juicy had stuck and burned on the oven bottom and the grates, but my Scotch Brite heavy duty sponge made cleanup a breeze.

We always have these in our kitchen. They are great a clearing up about anything. Of course they are not meant to clean surfaces which may scratch, but otherwise we use them to clean everything else. They work great in the garage - cleaning tools, surfaces, parts of our cars.

These sponges are great for many things. One is always by my sink for wiping dishes, cleaning the counter, and many other things. It works great on everything. Every couple of days, I throw it in the dishwasher with the dishes to clean it. It lasts for a really long time. Great value for a great product!

I only use scotch bright when it comes to sponges and scubbers. The last long and do a great job. I especially like the heavy duty scrubs, because they do a great job on baked on tough to clean pots and pans. It doesn't scratch up my cookware and removes even the worst of messes. ...I do my BEST to create a safe, healthy environment for my children. As such, I do not trust any other brand of sponges (and we use several types, although we could only pick one for this review, btw) for kitchen cleanliness. Thanks Scotch-Brite! :)

I purchased these today, because they did not have the regular scotch kitchen sponge that I usually buy. When I got home and ready to use these "sponges" I found them to be almost useless. If I were going to design a toy sponge for a kiddie kitchen, these would work great. \\

As I read in other reviews, this product has declined in quality and durability in the past year or so. The scrubbing edge gets a white/stringy look to it very quickly. Additionally, the sponge area also falls apart much quicker than the previous models. It is a shame because they used to be so versatile. I will be exploring an alternative once I exhaust this batch I purchased at a membership club.

This sponge works very well in cleaning all surfaces as well as dishes without leaving a "green residue" like other brand sponges out there. They are durable and efficient... the only downfall to them is that they tend to smell foul easily... wish there was a way to keep the smell away.
