This sponge is the only one I will purchase. Period. It is simply the best I have found to scrub off those dried on messes, but yet it is still gentle enough not to scratch my cookware. I love Scotch Brite and will always be a loyal customer because of their quality products. Well done!

I have used the heavy duty scrub sponges for years, both at home and work. The sponge material is not the same and the thickness of the sponge is much less. It feels like I'm crushing it when I squeeze the water out. I don't know if it is the material that is different or just cutting costs by using less material on the sponge thickness. It really has me thinking of a change of venue here.

I cannot imagine trying to keep my kitchen clean without scotch-brite pads. They are the most useful thing in my cleaning supplies. They also go with me to the bathroom to help scour the bathtub since I have an older enameled steel tub. I use them to take lint off my clothes whenever I have an article that "pills" or if I inadvertantly leave a tissue in a pocket. I love these!

I have used Scotch-Brite sponges for over 30 years. Recently I have noticed that the yellow sponge wears out and disintegrates after very few uses. Forget running it through the dishwasher, it becomes useless after that! I have always counted on Scotch-Brite sponges to be dependable, sturdy and long-lasting, now I will shop around for a replacement. Whatever you did to them 3M, change it back!

I have tried numerous pads cleaning my house but always come back to Scotch Heavy Duty scrub pads. Especially for my bath tub and general bathroom area - these pads can hold up to the tough task - where other scrub pads fall apart or disappear before the job is done. Scotch pads are my try and true cleaning pad and I am always pleased with the results. Scotch Heavy duty pads will always be the product we use in my house.

I always have as Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge on my sink. I use it for washing dishes and especially for tough dried-on or burned-on residue on pots and pans. The "regular" sponge on the flip side of the scrubber makes it a great "two for one" sponge.

I like that it has two sides which one does the items that only need a soft washing and the other for those pots/pans that are difficult at times to to clean. Just the right size to fit our hands. The heavy duty side doesnt scratch the surface like some scouring pads might do. I will be looking to get more of these as there just what I need for dishes and other counter washing.

I lovvvvve these sponges for cleaning the house, because they not only of course are tough enough to scrub a bathtub or tile floor clean, they are great on gently scrubbing marks off the painted white walls without ruining the finish, and most amazingly ---- its the only type of scrubber that reacts with metals in a way that all others do not -- when I use it to scrub the sink drain ring at teh bottom of sinks and tubs, it removes all the tarnish in seconds! No other scrubby does it that way. I truly think there is some chemical reaction that happens because its so fast! So that is what makes these sponges with the green backing so special to me!

She brought a Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge and I couldn't believe the difference! I BARELY had to sit them in hot water, and everything scrubbed right off with such ease. This has made doing dishes SO much easier and less time consuming for me! This product alone has turned me into a VERY loyal Scotch Brite customer!!!

I really don't know how I got along before the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge. I always have one in my kitchen sink. The convenience of the soft sponge on one side and the scrubbing surface on the other side means that I don't need any other product to make sure my dishes, and pots and pans are completely clean. And, it is perfect for cleaning my sinks, especially when there are black marks left by heavy pots and pans.
