Two months and will not recognize strip insertion. Strips are known new and good. Warranty is a joke. if I send it in, they can claim it's my fault and charge me more than I paid for it. I'm going to Wal Mart to see if they will help and I know it's not their obligation.

Monitor, Bluetooth, and App work well. Too hard to find test strips and control solution. Roche wants users to "subscribe" for test strips and the control solution is unavailable from the Accuracies-Chek online store. Test strips are expensive when they can be found.

FYI The picture on the box shows test strips in the SmartPack, there arn’t any test strips in the box! You get the monitor and lancing device with 1 drum with 6 lancets and the carrying case. My husband wasn’t crazy about the carrying case, it is cheaply made, so he is going to use the case from his other monitor that broke. The case on the left came in the box, the one on the right is the one he had and like much better! We just bought it so time will tell if it measures up to his monitor that broke! We didn’t have time for him to call the Doctor and request for another prescription so we paid out of pocket for the Accu-Chek Monitoring System.

The monitor is good I like that it shows the last time my son was checked. What I don't like that the pinching device's clicking is too loud. When I check my son at night he wakes up, but I use the older ones I have.
