AWFUL INSTALLATION ISSUE

THE LARGE SCREW WHICH CONNECTS TO THE WALL ENDED UP STRIPPED AND THE ALARM WOULD NOT WORK.. AFTER MUCH STRESS, I GOT IT BACK OFF THE WALL AND ATTACHED PROPERLY..

Bought in June 2019

The unit started to go off for no reason. Other units near by weren’t detecting anything. So much for 10 years!!!

how about you make a label on the back that says turns on automatically in a very easy to read script?

Hello. Yes, we have a lot of information we are required to put on the back of the alarm and it doesn't leave a lot of room for large print. The information is there on the back of the alarm where it says "THIS ALARM WILL SELF POWER ON WHEN INSTALLED" but as you can see, there is not much room to make the print bigger. All of the information about how the alarm is in the owner's manual provided with the alarm and also found on our website under products, under each product, under documents

Not worth it, do not buy

Junk, battery lasted nowhere near 10 years. Don’t waste your money do not buy. It’s a shame that a well-known company puts out junk.

Don't buy this smoke detector!

We got low battery alarm within 6 month. I have no idea what happened to 10 year battery life span. It didn't last even 6 months. Don't buy.

False Alarms

I bought this less than a year ago. All of a sudden it started alarming with no justifiable cause. I had to permanently disable it.
