Overall I would recommend the Gillette Fusion ProGlide. I've been shaving with them daily for the past two weeks and the blades have yet to show any serious dullness. The actual quality of the shave is quite high; usually one swipe is more than enough. I received this razor for free as part of a program run by Gillette.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my razor right before Valentine's day and figure that I will give it a shot before then. The packaging was very easy to open and no blades or scissors to open the package up but I do not know what the packaging is in the store.I noticed that the flex ball uses a metal strip as a spring to hold the ball in center when the blades pivots and if it is not stainless, I will think that will rust soon. The shave was great but when I when I tried to see if the blade moves around my face, I did manage to knick myself and I think that was my doing on trying to see how the blade will pivot on the handle and my face. I have been a fan of the fusion for years but this was my first on the Proglide. The only complaint that I have is how long will the strip spring will hold after shaving for a while with the razor and I will know later on. Anyways, the only razor that holds to the face that I have used before was the Schick Tracer years back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor was a very nice razor to have been offered to sample. The blade attaches to the handle very easily. Once the lotion was applied. The razor seamlessly glided across my skin and made easy work of the little beard I had going. Was able to clean up real nice especially around the neck area where other razors usually bog down and it then becomes tough to rinse the razor. Not the Gillette Fusion Razor. Their was no bleeding or agitated skin left from the shave. Very easy to press and hold onto. Easily cleaned up upon rinsing. Would certainly recommend to friends and people looking to get a nice clean, crisp shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really expecting to notice a big difference with Flex Ball technology, but in reality I did not notice a difference. I will always stand by the five blade technology advancements made and never go to less blades. If price was not a differentiating factor and I had them side by side, I would take the Flex Ball technology over the standard version I currently use, but would not pay extra for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK, so I have to admit there are often days that I need to shave twice in one day because my facial hair grows quickly. NOT ANY MORE,thanks to my Fusion Proglide. Not only does it adjust easily to the contours of my face it also shaves extremely close. No need to swipe over tough to shave areas two or three times. Once is enough! This razor not only saves time it helps make my face look younger and fresher. I am never going back to my old disposable.

At first I was hesitant about the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual Razor with Flexball Technology because let?s be honest, a razor is a razor right? Well that could not be farther from the truth as I have used this razor a few times already and have seen a significant improvement in the closeness of my shave and getting those places that normally take me several passes with a standard razor. I have also seen less irritation which is something I have always lived with but now may be a thing of the past?I need a few more shaves to prove that theory! I have been pleasantly impressed with the razor and will continue to use it in the future. Funny thing is that Gillette gave me this sample for free and I am pretty confident that I would have walked right on by the razor if I had not been given the opportunity to try it. Love the flex ball handle and design, cheers to you Gillette for designing a true winner, you now have a forever customer.

This razor head is not bad, however, it is not good either. In fact it is not really much of a change at all. It does add some additional movement over the commentator, however, it is not big enough of a change for me to spend more money for this feature.

I am a running behind person, so I will normally shave in the shower, wet shave without gel, so when I realized I had to use a shaving gel, I waited on shaving, giving me a little more of a cut to be needed. Maybe I am use to my 3 blade razor compared to this 5 blade razor, as… WOW!!! I am totally impressed! One swipe compared to two or three. What a time saver and closer shave!

I've used pretty much all the razors from Gillette over the past and this is the best one by far. I always found shaving a pain as it irritated my skin because the shave just didn't feel smooth and at some points it would just hurt. The fusion proglide razor seems to solve that issue with the flexball technology which makes for a much smoother shave.

I used to use the Mach 3 Turbo from gilette, and i loved the five blade technology, but always found i still has a bit of stubble afterwards. With the new Proglide Fusion, you never really notice the head moving, but you can feel it. After using the Proglide Fusion, it feels like i never had facial hair to begin with. My skin is smooth, moist, and feels great to rub my hands on. That feature alone makes it great for going out, because no girl or guy wants to feel your face if its rough. With this, theyre gonna want to touch it. The other great fact is that it lasts longer between shaves, and i dont get razor burn. No more little red blotchy patches, or preplanning of shaving the night before to avoid looking like I have a rash during a meeting at work the next morning. I can get up, shave, and feel great. The proglide fusion also works for maintaining nice clean fascial hair, with the trim blade at the top. Andre is able to get a nice clean straight line for his beard and goatee, making it look stylish and handsome, and never unkept. I highly recommend this as a gift for your boyfriends, husbands, siblings, etc. and even for yourself. Trust me when I say its the best shave you'll get outside some oldfashioned barber shops straight razor, and you will never go back.
