To help extend the life of your lubrication strip, storing your razor with the blades facing up is recommended, and we also suggest rinsing your razor from the back of the cartridge as well. Part of getting a great shave is having a product your able to use until it's service life is completed. We are sorry to hear that you have been having a lubrastrip issue with the blades. The lubrastrips are made of botanical oils and can dry to a surface. You are correct in stating you should store your Fusion razor in a manner that allows air to pass over the cartridge. Ideally, you would use a holder, razor stand, or travel case to achieve this. You also don't want to store your razor in a humid area like the shower as excess humidity can affect the lubrastrip as well. If you would like to contact us our number is 800-445-5388.
