The best shaving experience I have ever experienced is the Gillette Flex Ball. It was the closest shave ever. I would tell people that they are silly if they don't try it. Yes there are more economical brands out there, but they usually leave my face irritated and sore. This is never the case with Gillette Fusion Pro Glide line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally got a chance to use the Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall Technology the other day after having it sit in my bathroom for a few days awaiting the time when my patchy facial hair would be long enough for a good test shave. My first thoughts about this razor was that it was actually pretty heavy compared to the other manual razors I have used before, even compared to the powered version of the ProGlide. I applied some Gillette Active Sport Shave Gel (will review that later), and started shaving. The blades still pulled at my "mustache" hair but most every manual razor does that anyway when it gets a little longer. The rest of the hair was cut down to size in a few swipes in different directions. The razor was smooth feeling and didn't nik or cut me in anyway. While I was shaving I was trying to figure out if the FlexBall was actually doing anything. Unfortunately, I still can't tell you if it helped or just sat there. The shave didn't feel any different than the Gillette Fusion ProGlide powered or normal razor without the FlexBall. This makes me thing the FlexBall is more of a gimmick than anything. It may have contoured a little bit better when making the shave strokes, but not enough to impress me and make me want to pay full price for the razor. Overall, it was a decent shave but I don't think I will be buy replacement blades for this and just stick with my lighter weight manual razors.

The first thing I notice was the solid feel in my hand.This razor has some heft to it. Next was that the head of the razor pivots from side to side and back and forth. Now how does it shave? Excellent!!!! This razor gives a very close shave. The Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall is my new razor. #ThanksGillette

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This does a great job. It gets a very close shave that leaves my face really smooth. The FlexBall makes it really easy to shave on the neck. Other razors will cut you easily, however this forms to your shape. I really recommend the product.

This razor moves to my face and allowed me to easily reach the areas that I usually have to try so hard to get to and end up cutting myself. LOVE IT!

It's performs perfectly against the grain with no nicks or cuts. Transitioning across the chin and jawline is a breeze! I couldn't even think of using another brand. With the added lubrication on the blades it helps protect the skin with each shave. The Gillette fusion shaves extremely well and the face feels smooth and soft to the touch after each shave. The great part about the Gillette Fusion shaver is the flex ball which allows the shaver to shave evenly and to the surface of the skin without nicking or cutting the skin like some razors tend to do. In addition, the Gilllette Fusion razor comes with two additional cartridges which makes this razor worth each penny spent. I also liked how easy the razor was to use and the price really reflects the overall product. The blades are super thin and allows the razor to shape to your individual face. I would hungry recommend this shaver to others who are in the market for a new razor that works.

In other words, ever since I was a teenager and started to shave, I've been using only Gillette razors and shaving foam, cream etc. And almost every year or two, they introduce new products and new innovations that makes them who they are. Leaders! Nobody comes close in terms of the cleanest, smoothest and safest shave that a man can get. With the fusion proglide razor and 2-in-1 gel, they have taken it to the next level of comfort and confidence! What will they think of next!

I've had the regular Gillette fusion and after experiencing this one, I won't go back to my old one. I always wonder when I see commercials what the next possible idea is for products like these and think there's no way to improve but I have to say, Gillette nailed it with this razor.
