It didn't really seem to make shaving any easier for me and there wasn't any sensations I felt on my face from it. The Gillette Gel was just like putting a blanket over my face when I applied it! It really seems to stimulate my whiskers and make it much easier to use my razor with it. There was one very minor "nitpick" I had with it, and it wasn't anything I'd take my rating down for. The scent is called "Ocean Breeze". To me, it didn't really smell like an oceanic type of smell. It was more of a musky type of smell to me. I had another product with that was something along the lines of an Ocean type smell. The smell of it was very light, yet still masculine.

However, the instant I lathered this on my face I began to feel a cooling sensation. The gel went on thin and easily and made shaing a breeze. The best part about the gel came post shave. Long gone are the days of razor burn as the cooling sensation lasted nearly an hour. Skeptical at first but at one use I am a user for life.

On the odd chance that I do use shaving cream, comfort is at the forefront of importance. I have used all levels of the spectrum in this department and Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive 2 in 1 Shave Gel holds up to expectations. When needed, I feel confident in using this shave gel.

I wanted to test out the gel before I actually used it with the razor. I got a little gel on my hand, and much to my pleasant surprise, the gel smelled GREAT! I had received the Ocean Breeze Shave Gel. It has a good feel to it and lathered up NICELY! It wasn't irritating to the skin, which is the experience I have had with some shave creams. It felt rich and creamy and went on my skin so smoothly! I have to admit, I was totally happy with this new product as I got my razor out to begin to test that too. Thanks Gillette and Bzzagent.com for my new razor and shave gel. I'm SOLD on it and won't use another kind now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shave gel goes on well and does a good job helping the blade shave. It's more foamy than other similar gels, which is nice. The cooling effect that occurs a shortly after applying is nice but is surprisingly strong; similar to weak IcyHot. It is definitely an acquired taste. Overall, I would recommend this as a shave gel, but still not as good as a true foam.

I've very sensitive skin and due to my recent travel to India, my skin had became very dry and I have very hard grain and soft skin. I usually have damages to my skin when I shave and it takes about a week to heal so I can't shave for another week. But, Gillette proglide duo changed everything, it so smooth that I feel no pain or burn while shaving process and it leaves my skin very smooth. Even after shave my skin stays with no burning feeling for the entire day. However, I can't shave daily as my skin needs time to heal but with this gel, I can shave every other day and its fine... I would recommend this product for the guys like me who has hypersensitive skin.

My skin is really sensitive and I usually have to buy shaving cream or gel that specific to sensitive skin. This new gel does everything and more that my old shaving cream did, except it smells better and makes my skin feel cool and comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this to every guy I know!
