I must admit I am not much of a shave gel guy, but I figured to give it a go, why not? First, the packaging is very nice and bright. I like that the can has a plastic bottom -- no more rusty shaving cream cans by the edge of my sink! Very easy/clean to dispense -- just a quick turn at the top and you are good to go. Last, but certainly not least, it has a small window on the side so you can see how much is left in the can. As to the quality of the gel, I found it to be think so you don't need to use a lot to spread all over your face and it lathers up nice and good. The gel had a pleasant and noticeable cooling sensation on my face. At the same time I found the Ocean Breeze scent to be noticeable but not overpowering, which is the last thing you want. I like to smell good, not that I bathed myself in aftershave, so points to Gillette for getting that balance right! In terms of how my skin felt post shave, (coupled with my Fusion razor!) this gel gives a very good close shave I found that this gel helped keep my face was moisturized longer than my regular shaving cream. All in all, I've been shaving with this gel for about 2-3 weeks (I shave about 2-3x a week) and I very much enjoy it. I'd certainly continue to use it and would strongly consider buying more in the future.

The quality difference between cheaper and more expensive certainly is noticed, but the type of shaving cream/gel used seems to be the most important factor for me. I have fairly sensitive skin prone to neck razor burn. This product had a nice scent, not too strong. My favorite aspect though was the moisturizing aspect. I believe it helped prevent razor burn. I would purchase it above a standard shaving cream for this difference. A little of the gel goes a long way which helps to negate the higher price for this product. I also noticed it was less prone to run down my face and neck or drip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the ocean breeze proglide gel and here is my review. I will start with the smell which I did enjoy greatly. It has a potent but not overpowering scent. I have never used a gel before this and the way it foams up was very interesting and it seems to me to be able to go further than a traditional shave cream. I unfortunately did not like the use of the gel for two main reasons. This first being that the gel seemed to clog the razor blades and not give a great shave and was harder to clean out of the razor than a standard cream. Also the gel left me with a "slime feeling after finishing the shave. this may be the scent but i did not like this feeling. Overall i have mixed feelings on the gel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comes out easy and foams up as soon as you start massaging it in. The foam lasted the entire shave where some have broken down and dried up. Left my face feeling tingly well done and washed off easy.

I really enjoy the scent as well as the nice clean shave after using this product. I find myself grabbing for this shave gel instead of the normal shave gel I buy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally received my FREE PRODUCT from Bzzagent.com that I had been so anxiously waiting on to arrive, my Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor and 2-n-1 Gel. I wanted to test out the gel before I actually used it with the razor. I got a little gel on my hand, and much to my pleasant surprise, the gel smelled GREAT! I had received the Ocean Breeze Shave Gel. It has a good feel to it and lathered up NICELY! It wasn't irritating to the skin, which is the experience I have had with some shave creams. It felt rich and creamy and went on my skin so smoothly! I have to admit, I was totally happy with this new product as I got my razor out to begin to test that too. Thanks Gillette and Bzzagent.com for my new razor and shave gel. I'm SOLD on it and won't use another kind now.

The design of the can is much more modern than the traditional shaving gel cans. The dispensing part is simple to use and it doesn't leave that gooey mess behind like the older can designs. I think the product is overall the same as they normal Gillette shaving gels just in a more modern package. I would buy and recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this product I like the way it leathers up but the reason I give it 3 stars is because of the way it cleans off. It seems to stick to the razor head and is harder to clean off than a traditional shave cream but of all of the shave gels I have used it was the best.
