I think that the plastic bottom is a wonderful idea. I keep my shave gel in the shower and now I don't have to worry about rust rings. The twist to open/close is great. When you have a handful of shave gel, it's hard to put a cap back on. I really like that improvement. The gauge on the side is a nice improvement, so you know when you're running low. I really liked the shave gel, as well. It lathered up great and I loved the mild scent, of Ocean Breeze. Better than some of the stronger scented gels I have used. It made my shave very comfortable. I didn't get any razor burn or nicks. My face feels smooth and refreshed after using the gel. I will most likely use this gel again in the future.

The fresh, clean, tropical scent of the Gillette Ocean Breeze Shave Gel transports me to a place far away from this brutal NYC winter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Gel is absolutely fantastic. I had the pleasure of trying the Ocean Breeze variety of the shave gel, but quite honestly, I would've enjoyed any of the available scents. The 2-in-1 gel is labeled as "Sensitive" which is appealing to me because my skin is generally on the sensitive side, due to face washes and creams that I use on a daily basis, and also because it's winter. I immediately noticed a cold, tingling sensation when I applied the lather onto my face upon the first shave. It was very refreshing and made the shave enjoyable. I'm also very impressed that the cooling sensation remained on my face for a few minutes after rinsing my face. This makes me believe that the 2-in-1 gel is also working as an after shave balm. I'll mention briefly that the packaging for the 2-in-1 gel was well thought out and the plastic is durable, sleek, and more environmentally-friendly. I liked that there is no cap to remove from the canister, yet accessing the gel is easy as twisting the dispenser that doesn't leak like traditional aerosol cans. There are certainly many more shaves in store for me with the Gillette ProGlide 2-in-1 Gel, and each time will feel like a new experience for me.

The lather was thick and the fragrance not overpowering and it doesn't dry my skin out or irritate my face. From a practical standpoint, I liked that the nozzle kept the gel from oozing out of the spout between uses and that the plastic can meant no rust rings on a wet counter top, since I tend to leave my shaving supplies out and in sight. Combined with the gilette power ball razor, which has become my favorite razor, for its incredibly close and smooth shave, this is a winning combination. Very close, smooth shave with little resistance and no cuts or pulling. Close enough that my wife saw and felt a difference in my my shave over the past few weeks. I'll be using both of these from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice smooth shave and my skin feels awesome. Flex ball razor does an awesome job of keeping the blades on your face where they belong. I usually get skin irritation from shaving but pairing the razor withe the ProGlide Sensitive 2 in 1 gel, resulted in a significant reduction in irritation.

It comes in a great looking and thoughtfully designed container that doesn't rust like most shave cream containers. It has a great scent and produces a rich and soothing lather. It keeps my skin smooth and prevents irritation. Especially good for sensitive skin and those of us who often have to shave twice a day. Anxious to try one of their other scents as well. A big improvement over regular shaving creams. I have shared this positive experience with some friends who are anxious to try it as well.

I really like the shave gel. it had a really great scent and made the shave smooth and irritation free. the construction of the can is good to it had a lock feature to prevent accidents when travelling. the texture of the gel is good too not to thick or thin and runny and is really easy to apply.

I would recommend this to anyone that like to use a blade. The price is right for a blade that will stay sharp for several months. Glad I had the opportunity to use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll admit that I'm a creature of habit. Ever since I had to start shaving, I've been using Edge shave gel. No real reason other than pure inertia. With this ProGlide gel, I've noticed a few things that I've never really thought about before: 1) The can has an indicator on the side so you have an idea of how much is left. Why hasn't this been done before? 2) It actually smells nice. Edge is ok, I guess, but I really enjoyed the scent of this one (and my wife concurs!) 3) The can is RUST PROOF?! What?! I said to my wife a mere 3 months ago, "What's with bath/body products using cans that rust? We haven't moved beyond this yet?" She said, "You own products long enough for them to start rusting?" And I said, "YES, and it bothers me that the can may be on the verge of exploding in my face randomly at some point." So, thank you Fusion ProGlide. Thank you. All that and it shaves well with no irritation. I'm a convert. I'll go with this over the other stuff any day, especially if I don't have to deal with a UFC fighter's ugly mug on my shave gel can.
