[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With using an electric shaver as my primary way of trimming, I haven't been able to use many varieties of shaving cream/gel. I have since switched to manual razor in the past year (thanks Bzzagent!) and have been using a store brand shaving gel. I was very happy to be selected to use the new Gillette Ocean Breeze shaving gel. So far, I love this brand/scent. It isn't overpowering and it leaves a cool,tingly feeling while you shave and afterwards as well. I like the fact that the container doesn't have a cap (less clutter and chance of it getting lost) and you can swivel the cap to the closed position. I didn't experience the gel continuing to come out (defective cap maybe?) even after it was in the closed position as I saw a few of the reviewer had. I also like the small visual meter to see how much gel you have left. As far as using the gel, you don't need a lot! Just a small amount created a ton of lather. I like that because you use less, which in turn helps to save money by not having to buy so often. While shaving it spread on my face very easily, didn't clog up my razor and rinsed away pretty well. When I run out of the product, I will definitely be looking to purchase this version again. I might even try out a different scent too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Man, this new Gillette shaving gel is amazing. Firstly, I love gel over foam any day of the week - I feel it provides a better prep for shaving. Secondly, this gel really has a great scent - really smells like a warm ocean breeze - very nice during this cold winter. Also, I like how the gel is designed to help keep my skin soft and smooth - much like using an after-shaving lotion -- great stuff. I'm seriously considering switching to this gel as my go-to shaving gel from now on! Great work Gillette, you've got a fan here!

The whole house will be switched to this next grocery trip. It goes on smooth and helps get a close shave. The razor is great!! We have been using another brand and can say we wont be going back. Its a great idea to add the ball into the razor. Close shave! We cant wait to try out the different scents on the shave gel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fusion proglide gave a close shave there was no dragging across my skin that was partially due to the shave gel which worked great & had a pleasant light scent most shave gels have a strong odor which I do not care for this one did not. Also the razor worked around the contours of my face extremely well. I guess it is a result of the flex ball. I have nothing but good to say about this 2-in-1 set If u r looking for a new razor try this one the only thing I wold say is that I saw it at the store & it was kinda pricey compared to the ones I usually buy but I think it's worth the extra to save my skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my free Fusion Proglide 2-in-1 Gel in the mail two days ago. I used it first to shave a 1/4" beard, and I had to wash all of the gel out due to it burning and not allowing my blade to go through the hair easily. The second day I used it on just one day's growth, and it still did not offer a smooth shave and burned on top of the normal razor burn I endure each time I use a razor. There are some things that I think don't need to be blended. I don't want a cookie baked into my meatloaf to save me the burden of eating two separate items, and I'd rather have a shave gel that softens hair and opens pores to apply before I use my brush to apply an even coat of shaving cream. The 2-in-1 did not go on smoothly and I did not want to get the gel caught in my brush, so I don't know whether or not it would have spread smoothly if brushed on. My wife was going to use it to shave her legs instead, but she hated the Ocean Breeze smell and doesn't want her legs to burn.

No skin irritation and the fragrance is nice too. It's great that it is a product that you can easily find at any store without breaking the bank. It's easy to use and the can is not messy.

The Ocean Breeze Shave Gel has a nice scent, lathers well with no mess and keeps my skin well protected. And nothing compares to this razor. It glides well along the contours of my face and gives me the closest shave I've ever had. Just when I think they can't make their razors any better, they prove me wrong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shave gel is pretty much what I expect out of shave gel. It goes on smoothly, and creates a nice lather. The scent is nice and not too strong. It's your average shave gel. However, the lid is very cool, keeping the gel from accidentally dispensing and keeping it neat and clean.
