[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fusion Proglide 2 in 1 Gel +Skin Care is the solution to my morning shave. I have sensitive skin and most shave gels leave my face dry and red. Fusion Proglide leave my face smooth and great smelling all day. My wife has commented that she really likes the smell on mynew shave gel and wants me to continue using it. I have made the permanent change to Fusion Proglide shave gel.

I love that the nozzle can be open or shut, ensuring there's no nasty gel build-up like I get on most every other shave gel. I am also impressed with the no-seam build of the can, ensuring there's no gunk or rust build-up on the bottom. Finally, the level meter on the back lets me know when I'm close to running out, instead of just guessing when I shake it, like with most cans. Now let's get to the actual product itself. I regularly purchase a Sensitive skin shaving gel and this will become my new go-to. It lathers rich and luxuriously, needing only a little bit to cover my whole face. It allows the razor to get an extremely close and smooth shave with minimal effort on my end. Equally important, I love how clean it washes off. I feel fresh and invigorated after every shave.

Additionally, the new shaving gel left my face feeling soft and smooth. Overall, this product is a large step up, the only other thing that could be changed is if the razor head could rotate in both directions.

However, the Fusion ProGlide razor with Flexball Technology was easy to use straight out of the box. The blades provide the closest, smoothest shave I have ever had. The only downfall I have found is that the blades do not seems to last as long as other brands. I believe the cost ends up evening out.

Which mean no rust! The scent was probably the most appealing fragrance when it comes to shaving cream that I have ever smelled. No more outdated elderly smelling shaving creams!

It only takes a little to create a rich foam, the scent is refreshing (not too overwhelming) and leaves a cool feel to the skin. The added bonus of a clean rust free canister can't be beat. Needless to say, I am very impressed with this shave gel and will look to purchase more.

The Gillette Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Shave Gel + Skin Care product out performed any other razor I have used to date. The razor shave around corner with ease and the design fits perfect for gripping. I didn't have much hesitation to try the Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 gel but once I'm comfortable with what I like, rarely will I make a change. That's what made the ProGlide gel so surprising- the clean on/off swivel, the mild and not overpowering scent, and the soft texture on my skin. I was certainly pleasantly surprised, so much so that I'll certainly keep with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a longtime user of Gillette shave gels. They've performed fairly well until I found safety razor shaving soap. I found the gels dried out just while sitting on my face while I shaving and caused a lot of nicks where the soap stayed nice and wet. Because of this, I wasn't expecting much different with this gel, but I was pleasantly surprised! To start, it has a great scent. Not overpowering, but enough to know you're doing manly things, like shaving your face. It goes on smooth and doesn't take very much to cover your entire face. As with all my shaves I shaved twice, once in each direction. I usually can tell how the shave went by how much my face burns at the end. The skin care part of the gel left me with a very nice cooling sensation that felt very nice. I can honestly say I'd put this gel up against any of the safety razor soaps I've tried and it would do just fine. Another plus is the entire canister is made of a plastic polymer so it won't rust. Also, the locking top means you don't need a cap which gets all nasty with unused or leftover gel. FINALLY, Gillette has made a shave gel worth getting excited about.
