[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I buy a shaving cream, my main concern is whether it will help with razor burn, irritation, and redness. I also look at the scent that the cream has and try to choose one with a pleasant, "fresh" aroma. I sometimes use different types of razors, i.e., mach 4, safety razor, straight razor, so I would also like to get a feel as to whether the shaving cream can work into a thick lather, that will be a layer of protection against the razor. Packaging & Design: I like the feel of the packaging and the design of both the trade dress and the utility of the can. The mess free cap which turns is interesting. It seems to work as intended. I've never had an issue with the nozzle becoming clogged with other type of shaving creams, so I'm not sure how necessary it is. That said, it's the first time I've used a gel based shaving cream, so perhaps clogged nozzles is more of an issue with them. Over all, I would give the package and design high marks. The Shave: As I stated, this is the first gel based shaving cream I've tried, and I must say that I really do like it. It isn't as messy as the "whip cream" like cans of cream and it easily works up a nice lather on the face and neck. The shave itself (using a mach 4 blade), is smooth and produces no irritation or razor burn. The one area that I am not sold on is the intense "cooling sensation" that comes on after the area is shaved. I can't say I hate it and it probably does ease some of the hot razor burn, but I don't love it either. Even so, it isn't enough to make me not use the product. In fact, I will absolutely continue to use it. After the shave, it left my skin feeling soft and refreshed. There was no redness or inflammation. It moisturized the skin and there were no dry, irritated areas, which is a common problem I encounter. The scent is pleasant and it does not overpower you. After the shave, there is enough of the aroma left behind to give me a fresh, clean scent as I start the day. Conclusion: In all, I like the product quite a bit. It produces a good, comfortable shave. There is a small issue with the very intense cooling sensation that comes on strong after an area is shaved. It can be a bit overwhelming at times, however, it may be responsible for the lack of irritation and/or redness that is common after I shave, in which case the sensation is worth the benefit. I have quite a bit remaining and I will continue using it until the can is empty. I am certainly not an expert on shaving cream and have been using the same boring bargain brand for years and years. But I would definitely buy this product in the store, although I may look to see if they offer a type without the cooling sensation.

Too many nicks, cuts and irritation, not a close shave and it took too long. Gillette's shaving products changed everything. I got nick and cut free shaves in less than 5 minutes and i actually enjoyed shaving again. Proglide Gel was the last piece of the shaving puzzle. The gel moisturizes and lubricates deep into the hair follicle and allows me to single stroke without having to go over the same spot twice. It also does a great job of conditioning my skin making it baby soft. I enjoyed the fragrance too. Not overpowering it complements rather than overwhelms my cologne. If you want state of the art, best in class go Proglide across the entire product line simply the best in my humble opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a shave gel before I received My Gillette Fusion "Ocean Breeze" shave gel.When I started to use it I was very surprised .I had been used to using shave soap and reg shave cream over the years. The very first thing I noticed was the smell. Very pleasing and comforting, Next It came out like a mixed color toothpaste but smoother I soon found out that you do not need a lot of gel, for I had too much on my hand.The gel make Me think am I shaving because the razor moved After this experence, I WONDERED why all these years I had always bought the cheapest on the market. Now I will only Buy the Gillette Fusion Gel, for get the cost and get a great shave, enjoy.

My wife seemed to like it very much and when I received the 2-N-1 gel I needed to be fair to the product and sample it the way it was meant, so I borrowed my razor back from my wife and purchased new blades. I have to say the razor does work well and is complemented by the ProGlide 2-N-1 Gel.The Gel has a very pleasant smell and I really like the no mess can. with my current shave cream the can gets messy from the gel still coming out after you are finished and the bottom of the can leaves rust marks on the shelf in the shower if I forget to remove it.I know my wife is going to want the FlexBall razor back and I personally have been using the Proglide power razor. If there was a Proglide power with the flexBall the would the ultimate razor and the 2-N-1 Gel is great just the way it is.

It really done a great job at softening my hair and skin to get it ready for my shaving routine. The scent is GREAT! there was no mess and I was smelling the ocean breeze through my entire shave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive 2 in 1 Shave Gel is easily one of, if not the, best shaving product I have ever used. It moisturizes better than other options and helps provide a close smooth shave. I have less irritation using this, and my skin feels less tight and dry following my shave and it stays that way for a whole day. You also need to dispense less of this to cover your whole face and neck area. The bottle is easy to use and keeps itself clean and I like the ability to see how much is left through the little window. The scent is very masculine and is awesome. I feel I can get away without using cologne after using this as it provides a great fragrance.

I don't often use shaving cream, preferring a wet shave in a hot shower - but this made for a smooth, gentle shave. Some shaving cream stings my face, but this didn't. I could have gone without the 'cooling' effect, but it wasn't too severe for me. The new packaging was definitely good though. I like the easy locking top. It didn't really get messy for me. And the all-plastic, no rust container was nice since I do like leaving it in the shower. All in all, if I was to use shaving cream more, this would be high on my list.

Couldn't tell much of a difference with the ball joint, but the blades cut so close and dont leave any irritation or cuts. As for the gel, it was very fast acting and moisturized the follicles so that when I went to shave, there was almost no pull whatsoever. This is easily the best combination i have shaved with ever.
