I remember being a young girl and just shredding my legs due to too few blades and cheap razor design. I remember using my dad's razors because they worked better. I didn't want a bad experience for my step-daughter. When I had the opportunity to try this product i thought what a great time to let my SD give this a whirl. It was a sleek clean design which prevented cuts and nicks and multiple blades for the close, soft shave. She was thrilled, I was thrilled and i definitely recommend this product for first-time shavers or even experienced ones.

Left my legs feeling amazing !I have 2 girls. My 16 yr old is not new to shaving but typically uses those dollar store razors. My 13 year old this was a first time for her. Both girls used a new Venus swirl razor. The oldest couldn't get over how much softer her legs felt. She said normally after shaving with a brand new razor she gets razor burn all over her legs... for once she had nothing plus no dry ichy feeling either. My 13 year old had no trouble using the razor and survived her first shave cut free. She also loved how soft her legs were. I personally loved how easy the razor was for her to control. Loved the Venus Swir razor so much I bought 2 more so all 3.of.us had.our own. Love bzz agent for giving me a free one to test out but in a house with 3 girls one is never enough lol..

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My daughter has actually been shaving her legs and pits for a while as she is a dancer and being hair free on stage is very important. She is now to the point where she was shaving her armpits every day, she mentioned that with the Venus Swirl she is staying smooth and hairless for longer. She is also loving the way her legs feel after a shave, smooth and moisturized with the Olay Violet Swirl shave prep. If I have a criticism of the product it is that the razor shaves too close, on her underarms, she had some irritation until she started to increase the time between shaves, it actually gets too close.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the razor with the shaving gel and it was terrific. The razor is so smooth, you can't even feel it. The ball in the handle really lets you reach hard spots, like your ankles, without the fear of cutting yourself.(Of course you still need to be careful.)If you use shaving cream(or gel) one of the biggest problems is having it all pile on the razor while you're shaving. With the design of the Swirl razor, it all goes out of the back, so you don't have to interrupt your shaving every five seconds to rinse it off.One of the biggest downsides is how long it lasts. I am still growing, so my hair grows really fast. The razor is amazing but you can only use it about twice before the edges start to get dried up, and hard, and with the cartridge refill being twenty dollars for four, for me that would be 40 bucks a month, so it should last longer than it does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette Venus has done it again with this new Venus Swirl with Flexi Ball.This razor contours impeccable soft spot that a normal razor would miss, the shape and rotation that the ball has carriers the razor across with smooth predictions.. you gonna love handling this razor.. I've used this razor in many hairy area and the moisture strips kept the area from getting dried and rashly.. pair with the Gillette Venus Olay Violet Swirl added extra moisture for a nice unexpected shave I would recommend this for any women who love a close shave.

And I really love the way it looks! The swivel ball made it a lot easier to reach those tough spots like shins and behind the knee.

What a wonderful close shave, with no razor burn, and hardly any stubble the next day! I have tried almost every razors, and every shave gels, and I am always on the hunt for The one that gives a close shave, that is safe to use, and easy to glide over the legs. Now I have found it, and I know that I can trust my daughter to use it and know that she shave with an incredible product, and not worry about cutting her selves shaving as much! When I first started shaving, my mom told me to press hard and I see now it's because I wasn't using a quality razor. This resulted in many, many cuts and bloody shaving sessions! My daughter and I were both impressed with the gliding ease of the Venus Swirl razor when doing tricky spots, like the knees and ankles. The smooth and moisturized end result was awesome for her and me to see. No bandages!! She is now totally confident to go at it on her own. I will definitely be purchasing the Venus Swirl razor for her- and myself too!

The flex ball feature is so great, makes getting into those harder areas on the knees so much easier and the shave gel was so smooth and silky which was a huge plus for the glide of the razor. I would definitely buy this product and recommend to friends and family :)

Really like this razor. Noticed some negative reviews regarding nicking and cuts. If you're used to using a man's razor it would be easy to get careless. This does take an easy hand and a little practice to get used to, but the results are well worth the effort.
