[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I have always liked Venus products even though they are pricey. It has a pretty normal size and an easy to use handle. The fun began when I used this product, didn't even feel like I was shaving. Usually with razors you can feel some type of pull or can feel the blades on your skin. Nope, not the Venus Swirl Razor, it was amazing. I had to stop several times to see if it was even working felt like nothing was touching my legs. I wish it had a cover for the razor part but I was extremely happy with this product.

To be completely honest, I didn't expect too much from the Venus Swirl because I thought there was not really much difference from this razor than any other. In the past, I have always used the Venus Breeze and thought it it couldn't get any better, but the difference from going from three blades to five was great! It made the shaving experience so smooth. I also LOVED the FLEXIBALL technology. The blades are able to get into the different grooves of my body which I found especially helpful for underarms and around my knees. There was no missed patches and I believe that is due to the FLEBIBALL technology. I love this razor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was SUPER excited to get my first product to review from BzzAgent. Honestly I was a bit nervous that it was a razor, I have Cerebral Palsy and shaving has always hard; I haven't used a razor since I learned to shave thanks to Nair. But honestly this may be the product that makes me start using razors all over again. I loved the ease of putting the razor together, there was no guess work or struggles fitting it into place. The grip is another big thing I was a fan of; the razor feels like the rubber grips you used to put on your pencils in school so there's no sliding around. The product gave me a very smooth and close shave - though it is very sharp. I cut myself twice (but don't worry, they weren't major and I chalked it up to being rusty with a razor.) I would also like to note that although we have the flex ball - it was the flexibility of the head of the razor that did the trick for me much more than the swivel in the ball. My biggest problem with shaving has always been my armpits; my left hand doesn't hold things and move very well, and I a, forever getting pretty terrible razor burn and an even worse shave under one arm which is why I stopped using razors. With this razor though, while I didn't get an as perfect shave under my right arm as I do my left thanks to my hand - I suffered ZERO razor burn and this is probably the best shave that I've gotten under my arms with a razor. So all and all, this razor is a win.

I don't think I would switch from my current razor for the fact that this razor seems to do the same job as a normal disposable razor. I don't like the flexiball thing. Sometimes the razor would have a mind of it's own because of the ball and take off and it was hard to control. I don't like razors that have extra moisturizing strips on it, I feel like they just get gooey and then the razor looks bad and dirty and I don't want to use it anymore. The 5 blades were nice though I don't know how much they actually helped in the long run.

The razor was so easy to use and I could immediately feel the closeness of the shave. I didn't have to worry about nicks when getting in those hard to shave spots. After 3 days the stubble is barely noticeable! I will be recommending this to all the women in my life!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Venus swirl razor was very visually appealing. I was skeptical at first of the FLEXIBAl having tried some similar product. But to my surprise it did move extremely well around the knee and ankle areas. I found myself with an extremely close shave not having to go over any area twice. I loved the design and it fit nicely in my hands so much better quality to any other disposable razor I've tried in the past.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I decided to try the product myself first. As a veteren shaver I want to make sure I'm happy with the products I introduce to my daughter. I thought the ball mechanism was interesting and possibly helped with closeness a bit. However, the razor felt almost too close and left my legs itchy for the full day after. The other thing I noticed is that the hair grew back more quickly than I would have expected, or that I experience with my other razor. In the end I didn't introduce it to my daughter because she has similar skin type to mine and decided to share my current brand instead.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This was the first time I used such a fancy razor so I was quite excited to see what all the fuss is about these things. The razor is a pretty purple colour (my favourite), has handle that fits really well in my hand and is easy to hang on to. I shaved my legs first. I really liked how the 5 blades sliced through the hair so I didn't have to shave the same area twice and the stuff around the blades really made for a smooth glide along my legs. Next I shaved under my arms. I didn't really like how it shaved this area. I found that it often glided over areas without shaving all the hair, making me go back over that area. The swiveling of the Flexiball also contributed to some missed hair and I was wishing it wouldn't swivel. One spot in particular I think I got a wee bit of razor burn since I had to go over that area quite a few times trying to shave the hair. I do wonder if perhaps after shaving my legs the blades became a bit dull and that might have been the reason the razor didn't cut the hair under arms as well as it had my legs. So I would use this razor for my legs but not under my arms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my husband’s razor for a while now because the women’s razors never seem to get a close enough shave but I will say that the Venus razor can compete. The ball technology does seem to help it glide across the bumps of ankles a lot better than some of the other women’s razors. The only thing is I wish that it came with a holder to attach it to the wall because the MoistureGlide Serum will stick to the tub or sink once it dries. So if you are like me and just leave your razor on the side of the tub you will need to make sure that you turn it facing upwards otherwise you will have to pull pretty hard to detach.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Initially, I was very interested in receiving a new razor to test. I enjoy testing all things beauty & skincare related. This razor, while it sounds like a great idea, is a little bit gimmicky. I'm not especially picky when it comes to shaving, especially during the colder months. Maybe if I had received this product in July I would be more excited. It's always lovely to be mailed samples to try out from wonderful companies such as Gillette-Venus (with whose products I have had wonderful experiences in the past). But let me get real for a second: unless you are buying cheapy razors in 20 packs, you're going to have a 3-4-5 blade experience. If this were for my face, maybe the extra blades would be desired, but for my blonde leg fur it's just unnecessary. The Flexiball aspect is nice, but most razor companies have similar technologies implemented already. Also, I don't know about other people, but my legs are pretty flat when I straighten them, which implies that «hugging curves» is really a non-issue. Overall, I was not wowed by this experience. It was another razor like every mid-priced razor I've tried in recent years (since graduating from the 2-blade 20-packs, post-university). Would I purchase this on my own? If the price were comparable to other razors I buy, I don't see why not. But I also won't rush out to switch brands.
