I have to admit that the flexiball for me didn't live up to the hype. I didn't feel like it made my shave any different than the standard razor. It is however, an excellent razor as it gives a super close shave leaving legs smooth as a baby's butt! I would not purchase this product for the flexiball technology though.

The packaging to the razor itself was creative but I had a little trouble getting the razor head out of its packaging. The razor's design was stunning with the silver ball and purple flowers on the handle--I almost didn't want to use it! The 5 blades were very effective in getting every hair, even strays. The only thing is that before using I had thought the "Flexi Ball" would have more degree of rotation but besides that this Venus razor is a superior product. It makes you want to shave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I recently received my Venus Swirl Razor that also came along with the Violet Swirl with Touch of Olay Shave Gel, but I'm going to review the Venus Swirl Razor here first! This razor does exactly what a razor is supposed to do, except it brings a closer shave than other razors. The reason for the silver ball in the middle, also known as the Flexiball, is so that it allows the razor to reach every contour of your body, and that's exactly what it does. No more having to do extremely awkward, and possibly dangerous, yoga poses in the shower! There are 5 blades, which are plenty of blades to do a job well done. There's also a strip on the razor that will help you get that smoother and closer shave, while also moisturizing your skin. Sexy smooth shave every time!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) i tried the new venus swirl razor and i was blown away usually i have small patched of stubble left over after every other shave but this time it was different nothing left but smooth legs for days .i usually let my legs grow for a long time but this didnt matter the shaver did more then its job it made me feel so smooth and with little to know effort i couldnt beleieve i have been telling my sisters for days about the new venus swirl and this will definetly be my new shaver for life i love love love love the oportunity venus gave me .

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Overall, I really like the Venus Swirl Razor. It has 5 blades, and a tiny comb feature right beneath the blades, to help get that smoother glide. My legs were really smooth after use, and I found there was a good gliding traction (as in no snagging or pulling at my skin). I didn't quite get the hype about the "Flexiball" at first, though. When I took the razor out of the package I was actually very surprised to find that the razor head doesn't have that much of a rotation. It's very, very subtle. I guess I expected it to rotate 90 degrees, or wobble a good bit over curves and angles, etc. So that was a bit disappointing to me, and I wasn't sure if I was using it wrong, or if that was how it was supposed to be. However, when I actually used the razor I noticed how much easier it was to get under my arms, over my knees, and even my ankles. It is a subtle movement, but the razor does curve in these hard to reach areas to get that little bit closer to the skin than other razors. So, it was helpful and I like it, I just feel that the advertisements I have seen for the Swirl are slightly deceiving on how much motion you actually get.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Tried my Venus Swirl razor/ shaving gel yesterday. I was so impressed with the razor, it was smooth shave. The swirl made doing the difficult to reach areas a breeze., i did not cut myself lol I was left with smooth skin! The shaving creme,smelled nice and foamed up well, left my skin smooth and silky. This would make a wonderful first shaving kit for my 13 year old daughter, It will be her first time shaving, and i want to be sure she uses a great product. Now that i have tried she will use it next to see how works for her. Thanks Gilette for a wonderful product.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Any of you used to be afraid of hurting yourself by razor? I hardly use razor because I never be good at it. Every time I use the razor I feel I am going to hurt myself!! But with Venus swirl razor, I don't worry about that. It's very easy to use and very safe. I tried it without shave gel (only water), it worked great. And for the design, the flexiball looks fun and helps the razor be able to confirm to every curve!! This is the first razor that makes me feel I want keep using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I used my razor swirl by Venus. This is a great product, usually I have a hard time getting a smooth shave in my underarm. No one wants those little hairs you can't quite get to left for everyone to see. Today however that was not a problem! Water park heere we come. Even in the winter you need smooth skin. The 5 blades make the closest shave p poo ssible. This is a great sleek product from Venus.

Before getting this product I was hoping to know how safe it was and how gentle it would be on skin, because I have slightly sensitive skin and my daughter might too. My daughter who is 11 was avoiding shaving her legs, explaining she wasn't ready and didn't need to. When she seen the Venus swirl, her fear changed to curiosity. She asked "when can I try this". I said today! She was a natural! She tried her right leg and used the shaving cream then proceeded to shave slowly and her eyes bulged with amazement. We spent half an hour and she did both legs and commented how smooth her legs felt! I too was impressed how nice of a job it did. Results lasted a few days and her skin remained smooth and non irritated! She says now she "doesn't mind shaving at all!" We finished up an hour later with some moisturizing cream. We will definetly be picking up a few more next shopping trip!

This is the most exciting thing I have ever encountered....shaving is usually a painful& long experience but with this razor....its actually quicker and there is no pain aaaaand your legs actually get moisturized and feel softer after use. I could not stop feeling my legs after. The razor glides effortlessly and hits all the spots and gets the hair deep so that it doesnt grow back as quickly...or, so it seems....its only been a few days!
