[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg! Can you say the best close shave ever? I really liked the construction of the razor. It was easy to handle. And glided on my skin almost effortlessly. Shaving could be somewhat of a task but I feel that the Venus Swirl Razor helped me get the task done in no time. I also liked the fact that it maneuvered through the rough spots like the knee caps and ankle area easily. Cutting was very minimal as well. Left my legs smooth to the touch. My husband even noticed the difference. Thanks Gillette Venus Swirl Razor for letting me try it for free. Now instead of always using my husband's razors I have a brand that's just as good and made for me!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really appreciated the invitation by bzzagent to try the new Venus swirl razor. I generally use any desposible, but better quality 3 blade razor. I often look over the newer reusable mega blade products simply because of cost so this gave the chance without the investment and I am very glad I did not have to invest the almost $20 investment to do so. Sometimes it is just not necessary to reinvent the wheel, and this is one such time. I found the overall design from the ball flexibility to the large base area surrounding the 5 blades to bounce around too much and quite often had to go over an area 2 or 3 times to get very hair. On areas where the skin is more taught It is not bad but anything softer or pudgy especially under arms it was very ineffective. As well the moisturizing strip area surrounding the blades becomes very sticky after the first use. All in all, dollar for dollar a good quality 3 blade razor and maybe the Venus swirl shave gel will give a better and faster shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the packaging. It was bright, cute, and caught my attention. The blade itself was a little difficult to get out of the wrapper. The razor is also very cute, definitely for a girl. I have very sensitive skin and cannot use cheap razors. I usually use Schick Quattro. The Venus Swirl is just as good as that, for my skin. I enjoyed the close shave and softness. This is everything you would expect from a Venus razor. I did get quite a bit of razor burn on my legs, but this is pretty typical with any razor for my skin. The razor worked extremely well on my armpits. It left them soft and smooth. Great experience. I would purchase this razor in the store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is one of the best Ive ever used! 5 blades sometimes seems excessive... Not with this razor! It just glided over my legs and left the smoothest legs! Easy to maneuver, left no nicks. Will definitely buy in the future!

When I received the venus swirl razor I decided to let her try it out. She was so happy with the results. Her legs were smooth and silky, and she was able to use the razor multiple times before it needed to have the blade replaced. Very very happy with it!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I finally received the new Venus Swirl razor and Violet Swirl shave gel samples from Gillette Venus today, and I wanted to try them right away. I'm pretty faithful to my 'regular' cartridge razor, because it doesn't cause irriations or cuts, and I was hesitant to try a different kind. Since having some lymph nodes removed under my left arm during surgery last summer, I have to be very careful about cuts and the risk of infection on my left upper side. The new flexiball technology and the 5 contour blades helped the Venus Swirl razor glide easily over my skin on my legs, and I couldn't believe how much closer the shave was than my regular razor! So, I decided to take the next step, and shave under my arms on both sides. Again, the flexibility was so much better than I was used to, and it even maneuvered around uneven surgical scars easily. The result? No irritation or cuts! I'm definitely happy with the results!

After using it though I found the ball made the razor too unstable as I was running up my leg the ball would cause the razor to suddenly change angles, when there wasn't an angle on the leg to take. I niced myself once because of this and didn't feel it was the best choice for my daughters first shave. I use Venus spa razors and love them, that's what I'll be using to introduce my daughters to shaving

She liked that the silver ball moved the razor head around her ankle and knees and didn't create any nicks or cuts. She also loved the finger spot on the top of the razor which made it easier to use while shaving upwards toward the knee! She came out feeling full of confidence that she did a good job on her own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical that I would get a good shave with this razor because I usually nick myself with women's razors, due to the enormous moisturizing strips on them. While the Venus Swirl Razor is not exempt from large moisture strips on both the top and bottom of the razor, I didn't cut myself once. While the rotating ball does allow for easy contouring, I could see it being difficult to reach small spaces if only because the razor head itself takes up so much space.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This razor is really nothing special. It shaves my legs and armpits just as well as the disposable and those are much cheaper. I did like the Flexiball action but it isn't enough of a change to make me switch. The Flexiball only allows the razor head to move side-to-side. It really seems like a gimmick. It performed alright when shaving around my knees and ankles, but it missed a few hairs on my ankles even though I went over the area multiple times and at different angles. To be honest, I prefer my Intuition razor. The Venus Swirl is pretty and is a decent razor but my regular razor works just as well. I won't be buying this product.
