I don't think I would switch from my current razor for the fact that this razor seems to do the same job as a normal disposable razor. I don't like the flexiball thing. Sometimes the razor would have a mind of it's own because of the ball and take off and it was hard to control. I don't like razors that have extra moisturizing strips on it, I feel like they just get gooey and then the razor looks bad and dirty and I don't want to use it anymore. The 5 blades were nice though I don't know how much they actually helped in the long run.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Was very smooth shaving. The pivot head allows a closer shaving to the contour of your leg surface. Would definitely recommend this product. If there has to be something said about it, would just be better to have a better casing for storing between each use.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I did not know how it would go - giving this to my 12 year old who literally just started needing to remover underarm hair ... I was not sure how I would even broach the subject. So i just told her when the kit came that it was for her. We opened it together, and the ret is history - she is off to a good (and rather seamless start to this new part of her life. She tried it the next time she showered and loves it. She has not comparison for the 'swirl' part, but she said it was easy to handle, the creme did not have a noticeable fragrance which she also appreciated. So far so good!

I have to say the Venus Swirl Razor took away my phobia of shaving ( is there a name for that? ), honestly I am afraid of shaving and when I do shave it takes a long time as I only shave little sections of my legs at a time, well I will tell you I got brave with the Venus Swirl Razor, I applied the shaving cream and began shaving..I was able to shave in a continuous line from ankle to knee, the flexiball moving with my every move, I was done shaving an about 5-6 strokes of the razor. I am certain I can now shave worry-free. Thank You Gillette for allowing me to try the Venus Swirl Razor and also the Shave Gel Violet Swirl.

The flexiball technology really does make a difference in that perfect shave! It left my legs feeling super smooth and soft. I will definitely be purchasing it in the future!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My daughter was pretty impressed with the Gillette Venus Swirl Razor. She really liked the handle - the soft grip made it very easy for her to hold securely in the shower. She is always nervous about going over nubbly bits like the ankle and knee but the roller ball on the razor made it really easy and smooth to negotiate those areas. As always, the moisture strip added that extra glide so she could go over uneven skin without fear of getting nicked. Her underarms are very thankful for that! She has already bought refill blades for this razor - it's a keeper!

The first thing I did when I received my package is pour myself a nice bath. Once I was in my bath I picked up my packaging and thought - oh snap I don't have scissors to get into this package but when I looked at it the package actually was very easy to open with a perforated lining - genius. The shave itself was smooth and not rigid like my other razor. The flexiball allowed me to shave without nicking myself which I greatly appreciated. I also enjoyed the MoistureGlide Serum to give a smooth shave. I recommend this product.

It smells heavenly and it is exactly as it says, it gives you super smooth skin and an amazing close shave with silkyness! I was excited to try this product and i was not disappointed! I will be letting my friends and family know about this one ;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is remarkable for legs, armpits, arms, etc., but not so good for those smaller, more intimate parts of the body. This problem lies with the actual placement of the razor; its surrounded by some heavy duty moisturizer strip thingy... which is both a blessing&burden. I mean, its great there's so much moisturizer because you don't even need any shaving cream, but like I already stated: it does not let you get into any "nooks/crannies." I love the product, but I do not love the need to have two different razors.
