I tried the Venus swirl as soon as I got it and I can honestly say that was the smoothest shave I have ever gotten. I then waited to see how long that shave lasted and it was three days. I have never been able to go that long in between shaves with my old razor. I am a changed woman, I will never use another razor again! Since trying the Venus swirl I have recommended it to everyone I know. I love love love the Venus Swirl!

I struggled in the past with razor after razor finding very little to be pleased with. The first day I received the Venus swirl I was so excited to shave my legs. I shaved in my shower and was genuinely surprised and happy when I got out and had no hair left on my legs. They were smooths and for the first time in months I never cut myself which is a plus in my books. The only thing I didn't really understand was the swivel handle. I didn't find that it really moved much or helped me to get a better shave but with that being said it didn't do me any harm by having it. I really enjoyed this razor as I was pleased that unlike other razors I didn't have to smack it against the wall to get the hair out, I simply held it under water and was pleased to see that the hair didn't stick in the back of the razor.

It has that little bit of extra maneuverability to the razor for shaving in contours like knees and underarms. It gave me a great close shave in all areas I used it and combined with the Violet shave gel I got the perfect shave and smooth skin. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the new Gillette Venus Swirl and it gave me the smoothest shave I have ever had with no stubble whatsoever. With the new Flexiball It did so much better around my ankles and bikini area. If I could have given this a rating of 4 1/2 I would have only for this reason. The water activated MoistureGlide serum is great for the smooth glide it gives on your skin but it melts purple serum all down my shower. I have to take my razor in and out of the shower every time I'm going to use it. Other than that I love the smooth shave.

It got every single hair in one stroke, I was even able to do 3 or 4 strokes on my legs before needing to rinse the razor. It glided very smoothly along the curves of my legs. My legs feel smooth and moisturized the day after. Overall this was a great razor and I am very happy with my results.

The flex ball technology really puts this razor in a league of its own. It got EVERY hair on my legs without having to go back two or three times. Also did not cut my legs once! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) When I first went to use the Venus Swirl™ razor the I immediately noticed the nice feel of it in my hand. It has a nice weight to it - not heavy but not featherlight. The weight distribution and design of the handle make it easy to hang on to, and easy to keep the head steady with appropriate pressure. At first I wasn't sure about the large size of the head - particularly under my arms. After a few uses my hands became adept at using this razor effectively. The Venus Swirl™ razor's five contour blades are very good at getting every hair right down to the base. There is no telltale stubble - only smooth soft skin. I'm on the fence about the FLEXIBALL technology. That could be why it seems easier to get every little bit of hair with little effort. At first I found the blade slid off mark - maybe because it was too moveable? But I think now that the sliding was caused by an overuse of shave gel. The blade is effective to use with only water! I've cut down on the amount of lubricant and no longer worry if the area has only water. The shave is smooth, soft and non-irritating no matter the surface.

And I will admit, the Venus Swirl razor with Flexiball technology gave a flawless shave on my legs. the Flexiball made it a breeze to shave my ankles and knees, and didn't nick me in the process; the five Contour Blades gave me a closer and longer lasting shave and the micro-comb made sure that I didn't miss a single hair. But that is not the point of this review. I am here today to tell you that it also gives an AMAZING underarm shave! I, of course, received this razor free from Venus for my honest review. My opinions are my own and I have to tell you - I have not had a longer lasting, closer shave in my under arm area with any other razor i've tried! My armpits have never been smoother, this razor doesn't miss a single hair AND I didn't get razor burn! It has earned it's keep many times over! Thanks Venus!
