(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had a fun spa day trying out the new Venus Swirl Flexi Ball razor that I got in the mail from Gillette. What I liked first off was the handle of the razor. It's purple with silvery designs, and most importantly has a grippy rubber handle that's cushy and makes it not slippery so I'll never drop it in the shower. The Flexi Ball is literally a metal ball near the base and you can twist it side to side. I really felt and saw a difference in shaving using this compared to other razors. I like that I can get a women's razor that has all the bells and whistles in technology that men's razors get. The 5 blades made a really close shave without pressing on it or having to go over the same area multiple times. It's the closest shave you can get. It glided smoothly and made my legs (etc...) super soft and touchable. Although the Flexi Ball is cool and new (and what the guys get), I didn't really see it as necessary. I liked the idea of it but really it only moves a couple millimeters. Basically any nooks I have to shave will get shaved regardless of this, but I find the flexible head it has where the razors are to be of better use. I really loved trying this and I think it's super fun looking, and I love the rubber grip handle. The blades gave me the best shave ever and I'll enjoy using this all season. This is way beyond what you would get with a disposable. I'm so ready to leave winter and go some place warm and throw on a bathing suit and take this duo with me. Is it too soon to start looking forward to summer? My New Years diet/fitness plan is actually working and I can see myself using this Venus Swirl razor every day to show off my skirts, shorts, and summer skimpies.

In preparation for my daughter using a razor for the first time the Gillette Venus flex ball was indeed feminine and a great color, but I found that when I was showing my daughter on my legs what to do. Then switching out the blade for her to try, she had a hard time getting the cover off of the razor. Then when she went to use it ,the handle was a little bit too long for her and she found it quite overwhelming. In my opinion, in the hands of an expert the razor is great, but for somebody who had no experience, the first time shaving a little bit difficult for her to control. It did give her smooth legs and she was very impressed with how soft they felt afterwards, but I would make changes to the handle and to the cover if she was going to be doing it by herself. It maybe a matter of showing her just the first time, but not everyone has this talk with their daughter. To ensure ALL first time shavers can have the best experience possible, I would want my product to be a little simpler to attach and control.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have used the Venus Swirl Razor a few times now. I find it gives a nice close shave. The razor is comfortable to hold and and shaves close in all areas. I was pleasantly surprised how well it works compared non swivel razor. This is a product I will definitely recommend purchase in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Venus Swirl Razor is the first razor that allows me to get all the spots behind my knees easily! The FLEXIBALL made it so the razor really could move with the shape and unique curves of my body and made shaving quick and easy. There is also a "Water-activated MoistureGlide™ serum" that surrounds the blades that you can feel as it helps the blades move more smoothly across your skin. One thing that I learned though is to not leave the razor face down between shaves as this serum will cause the razor to stick to the surface it is on. The blades could be a little longer to shave a larger area, but that is not enough of an issue to lose a star. The blades seem to hold up for a while as well. I have very coarse leg hair and I usually have to throw out my razors after just 3 uses but this one is still going strong after 5. I received this free sample from Venus/Gillette along with a sample of Violet Swirl Touch of Olay Shave Gel. The combination of the two made for a superior shaving experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Venus swirl razor works great! I usually miss several spots on my legs because of the bones, it is hard to get a razor around them. With the Venus swirl razor I didn't have any problems getting all of my leg shaved and without nicks. I was able to get a close shave with the 5 blades and the flex head and my legs feel great. I received the product free from Gillette but my opinion would be the same if I had bought the razor myself, I will recommend it to all my friends.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this razor from Venus, I have always liked venus razors, however I think this may be the best one. I have a stand up shower so its hard to reach all over my legs and I usually end up slicing myself at least once. However this razor is really easy to use and really great for the bikini line and behind the knees. I also found my legs weren't as dry when I got out of the shower as they were with my other razors. The only issue I had was that I found the ball would get stuck sometimes and would leave the razor head kind of crooked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the razor. It does like it says - contours and moves as you shave. The Moisture Glide part that encompasses the razor is my favorite part. It's so slick that it doesn't even feel like I'm shaving - just gliding over my skin. I'd definitely use this again. I use to use Venus and went away from it due to price, but this razor is worth the convenience and feeling!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This razor is awesome! The flexball on the razor is so cool and helps to get around the tough spots like your ankles and knees. I typically just buy the disposable razors so this was a nice change for me. It does take a little getting used to because it moves so easily that it feels like you could knick yourself easily but I am really happy with it!
