She was a little scared yet fasonated at just how easily her hair came of her leg without getting cut or scratch. She loved the purple color of the razor, and the swirls which I think helped motivate her along with the purely purple foaming olay swirl. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try out the new Venus Swirl Razor thanks to Venus. IT IS AWESOME! This is the first time in years that I haven't cut myself shaving near my heals or on my knees. This razor contours to your skin and glides across. It makes shaving your knees, behind yours knees and close to your ankles so effortless. The handle has a nice grip to it and it fits perfectly into your hand and fingers. With the flexiball, it's able to shift and bend so you get a nice smooth, close shave. The 5 blades make sure that there is NO hair left behind! It works wonderful for shaving your under arms, also! It seems so much easier with the razor's flexiball. I've never gotten that close of a shave in my underarms! I'm absolutely in love with this razor. My old razor is in the garbage already! This Venus razor is purple and has a super cute design! Everything should be cute!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I think the extra thin five contour blades combined with the microfine comb gave a beautiful shave with very little effort. One quick pass of the razor, no repeat swipes needed, very efficient and a time saver in the shower! The Flexiball however, was completely unnecessary. I don't know if it was a defect, but mine didn't really pivot or move without applying a lot of pressure, which you don't want to do while shaving. The Venus Embrace razor doesn't have it and it quite comparable. The water activated moisture guide works really well if you don't use shaving cream, but if you do it's probably not as important but nice to have. I was a little worried at first look because the head looks so flat but after one use I am in love. Love the grip and the fact the moisture strips didn't get slimy. Gave me such a close, smooth shave even on underarms with no bumps or razor burn. Would highly recommend this product to everyone.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I found the Venus Swirl Razor to shave very well. It left my legs with a close smooth shave with no nicks or cuts. The swivel feature made for a quicker time to the shave as I did not have to go back over areas as much as I have using other razors. With this in mind, I was anticipating less of an issue with my skin sensitivities however within ten minutes of shaving my legs broke out in a red rash and began to itch and burn. This is a common occurrence for me and I am constantly searching for a razor that does not have that effect on me. I am torn as to if I would buy this razor with the reaction that I had however it did a great job shaving and I find very few razors on the market give the close shave they promise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor worked really well. I liked how close of a shave it gave and that it didn't leave me with a rash afterwards. The handle of the razor is very comfortable and allows you to have a good grip of the razor as you shave. While shaving you can tell that the razor is closely shaving those worried spots which will no longer be a problem. The way the Venus Swirl razor works it allows you to shave easily any where with out any problems; I always felt like I got a great shave. Shaving is always an annoying task, but with the Venus Swirl razor it can be enjoyed by women all around the world again. I really enjoyed telling my friends and family about the Venus Swirl razor. For those lucky enough to get a coupon towards a razor also enjoyed their experience with the product. They liked the color of the razor, the close shave it provided, and how it could adequately shave every part of their body to their liking. For most of my friends who use the Venus Swirl razor once they tried it they weren't going to change to their old razors or a new brand. Great product loved by all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't really understand the point of the flexiball it doesn't really seem to have any really purpose other then to make the razor look cool. I can say after a week of using the same carriage it's still giving me a nice clean shave the purple soap around the blades is kind of getting spotted where it's been used up but combined with the sensitivity shave gel it's not making any difference that it's wearing out. I love this shave gel by the way and I can see it's going to last me like a year because you really don't need to use alot at all. A quarter size dollop will easily cover your entire leg. One thing that would make the Gillette flexiball razor better would be a holder for it to keep it dry in-between uses maybe even one with a sticking thing to keep it out of reach of the babies. One more thing I love about the shave cream is it didn't leave a rust ring in my shower if when almost constantly sitting in water.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used this razor for the first time the other day along with the shave gel and while I loved the gel, the razor fell a little flat for me. I'm not sure the flexi ball made much of a difference in performance. I did however love the ease of use with this razor, glides nicely on the skin and fits nicely in the hand. While it does have some nice qualities, I don't think it's enough to make me switch. With that said though, just because I didn't love it doesn't mean you won't. It's worth giving a try :)

I have to be completely honest: though there was absolutely nothing wrong with my "Venus Swirl" razor, I really don't understand the "FLEXIBALL" hype. It is definitely nice to have a bit of movement to help with those "hard to reach" places, but the "movement" was minimal at best. The "FLEXIBALL" technology only seems to allow the razor head to rotate a few millimeters to the left or right, and not at all in the other planes. To be honest, what little movement there wasn't even really noticeable. I felt like I was using any other razor with a completely static head. That said, it is a perfectly fine razor, and is definitely a step-up from the disposable kind I usually use. It simply would have been nicer if the head moved the way I was expecting it to when I first checked out the packaging.
