The heater shuts off when it got hot which was before the room reached my desired temp. I have a smaller Lasko heater and I thought that this model would have been an upgrade.

I had a similar Lasko heater but preferred the other one because this one moved the buttons from the top and also moved the handle lower for some reason. Besides that it works great.

This heater warms up any size room quickly. I love that i can control the temp., is fairly quiet, has a timer and a remote. This was a great purchase with nice feature's at an affordable price.

Nice looking, heating element gets hot, but fan does not blow enough, even on high. Not much of a difference between high and low speeds!? Very disappointed as I have several other Lasko heaters and all work great. Will NOT heat a large area due to this. Moving to bathroom.

Was a good buy for me. Originally bought it for my bedroom. Like it but when set temperature mode it never stays at that temperature, i.e. set at 80° after a while it says 65° & stays there. Possibly because I have this in the family room which is larger. On high it eventually has the whole room warmer.

I bought three of these heaters. Two go off when they reach only 1 degree above the set temperature; the third at 2 degrees above, as per the instructions. Not so much a big deal, though. However, when all of them reach the set temperature and cut off, they come back on for about 5 seconds periodically until the temperature falls below the set temperature and the come back on. This is only annoying in the bedroom when I go to bed. Other than that, they're great heaters.

Eventually warms room (open area)14'x14' that's leaving on high appx. 4-5 hours, the 2nd one I bought you have to leave on all day to warm a 12'x12' room but I'm keeping because I kept both heaters too long before needing to use them,,disappointed because I had a Lasko tower fan that worked really well but you get what you pay for

This heater is big enough to heat a large Den. Initially I thought that the heater would not put out a great deal of heat because of the size; however after about an hour, the room felt warmer. I like fact that there is an automatic shut off feature to prevent over heating. In addition, The remote and oscillating are great features. The plug can get warm in the likes, so be careful not to plug the item up near curtains.

This unit was working wonderfully for about two hours. I had it set at 68. The plug and cord were not getting hot. Then all of a sudden it popped the circuit breaker. Didn't think much of it until I couldn't get my D-Link or Internet to reconnect. It caused some kind of back surge that resulted in both having to be completely re-setup again. I would not use this unit unless they change the power plug to the kind that has its own surge protector in it. I was scared to use it again and returned it to the store.

I really like this heater so much that I bought two more, I like how it don't get overheated it has a temperature valve on it , and also have the hours that you can set in order for the heater to cut off . Also there's a controller that you get with it . I would recommend this heater to anyone .
