The colors are bright and my daughter has loved them for school (she needs all these colors for editing her writings). While erasing, she hasn't had any issues with residue or damage to the paper.

In practice, it's closer to a pen than pencil in functionality because of the effort needed to erase the ink. It takes several very firm scrubs to fully erase, so I think it's still best to treat using these as if you are writing with regular ink pens. However, having that option for occasional accidents is great. The pens themselves are vibrantly colored and easy to write with.

Packaging was easy to open and they don't rub or smear. Didn't try scratching but I think it would hold up. Definitely recommended to try these pens.

These pens are exceptional in every area and they are also erasable! These Pilot Frixion Pens write so smoothly and beautifully. The colors are vibrant, rich and beautiful. They dry quickly; easy to take along in my bag with no worries of a leak as they have “snap close” caps. The fine tip allows for precision writing and if you make a mistake….no problem! Correct it by erasing! I haven't experienced any clogging, but find the ink flows beautifully. These are fantastic pens for everyday writing, journaling, DIY cards, etc.

They write so smooth and if you make a mistake it erases easily without leaving behind little eraser shavings. The colors are fun and bright. They don't smear while you are writing. The pen is easy to home and comfortable. The cap is easy to remove and replace. A new staple in my office.
